Dear Ms. Lucci,

My name is Matt Winick and I am a fan of your acting in AMC (All My Children), a soap opera during my teen years.  I really thought you did a great job playing Ms. Erica Kane in All My Children.  In the soap opera I enjoyed learning more about Ms. Erica Kane.  My favorite characters in All My Children were you, Jackson Montgomery, Kendall Hart, Ryan Lavery, Bianca Montgomery, Joe Martin, Opal Cortlandt, and Adam Chandler because I liked on how you made your character be a part of their lives when they went through struggles or helping them by working on their friendship.  For example on the show I liked on how Erica Kane overcome your bias towards your daughter Bianca who was a lesbian and supported her, when Ryan lost his lover Greenlee when she died I like on how Ms. Kane helped support Ryan when he went through a struggle, and connecting with rebuilding relationship with Kendall, your daughter. Also in All My Children, I really liked on how you and Mr. Walt Willey make Ms. Erica Kane with Jackson Montgomery an interesting couple.   I was sad when ABC decided to cancel All My Children, however I am proud of your hard work on making your character Ms. Erica Kane an interesting character where she deal with working to overcome struggles, repair friendship, and relationships with people.

Besides liking on how you played Erica Kane I enjoyed watching you do a dance on Dancing with the Stars for a competition and I was amazed on how talented you are.  I decided to read  “All My Life”, an autobiography about your life. All My Life was a great book because it explained about your role on your performance on Annie Get Your Gun, later getting a role on All My Children as Erica Kane, how you worked on developing Erica Kane on All My Children, and your career after All My Children.  Also in the book I liked on how you explained you overcoming your struggles through losing your great grandmother, getting into an accident where you worked hard to recover your eyesight, having a miscarriage, and many others. Your story about working to overcome your struggles really helps me get inspired to work hard to overcome my struggles with a disability which is Autism.   Having Autism is hard because I have trouble comprehending on learning new things where it takes me longer to learn, sometimes I have trouble with communication when speaking with other people, and I get teased sometimes by other people about it. Another thing I like about you is how you work on charity to help people with disabilities including showing more awareness about Autism.

Ms. Lucci, I consider you one of my favorite actress because I like your personality and how you did a great job acting with making Ms. Erica Kane an interesting character on All My Children. Also your book really helps me be motivated to work hard to overcome my struggles and it helped me learn more about your acting career. Another thing I like is how you are committed to advocate to help people with disabilities.  I want to say congrats on winning 1999 Daytime Emmy Awards Outstanding Lead Actress in Drama Series and being honored for Hollywood Walk of Fame. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, making a difference or society, making All My Children fun to watch, and taking the time to write a book about overcoming different struggles. I want to wish you well for the future on acting career and many others.  Also I’m sending you a birthday card for December 23 with a small donation and a picture of me to remind yourself on how you inspire me.  I hope you enjoy my card and my gift.
