Dear Ms. Beaumont,

My name is Matt Winick and I am a fan of Disney movies.  The reason I’m a fan od Disney movies is because I really like seeing humor, enjoy watching fun imagination, enjoy symbolism about friendship with courage, and I enjoy the story. Ms. Beaumont, I consider you one o my favorite Disney Movie voice actor because you do such a great job making the main characters that you play like Alice in Alice in Wonderland and Wendy in Peter Pan and you do such a great job making them interesting.  During my childhood I really liked watching Alice In Wonderland.  Alice in Wonderland had a great story about Alice, a young girl who has a dream about going into a magical land called Wonderland where she journeys through Wonderland where she meets different characters who have different personalities including traits.  My favorite characters in Alice In Wonderland are Alice, The Dodo, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Mad Hatter, March Hare, Doremouse, and Chesire Cat because they have a sense of humor and interesting traits of telling funny stories.  In the movie I enjoy the songs sung by the characters including you because I liked on how they were interesting, the lyrics were clever, and it was funny. The main reason I consider Alice to be one of my favorite characters because I like on how she is creative, funny, kind, and having the courage to try different obstacles. During my childhood to present I like to be creative and do a lot of imagination. Another Disney movie that I like is Peter Pan.  In Peter Pan, I thought you did a great job voicing Wendy and making her an interesting character.  I really liked Peter Pan because I enjoyed the story about Wendy telling a story about Peter Pan to her brothers John and Michael about the story, then they see Peter Pan with Tinkerbell where he takes them into Never Land where they have an adventure.  The main reason I really liked the movie was I enjoyed the humor, the songs were clever, how it mixed well with Native American culture, and it wasn’t a dark movie.  I really liked all the characters in Peter Pan because each of them had an interesting trait while having humor.

Ms. Beaumont, I am very proud of your hard work on making Disney movies fun and funny to watch.  I really liked on how you make Alice in Alice In Wonderland and Wendy in Peter Pan great characters with unique traits. I want to wish you well for the future and I strongly believe that you make a great difference for Disney movies and the Disney culture.

Dear Attorney Coakely,

My name is Matthew Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan and I have a huge strong interest in studying with learning history, criminal justice system, and social justice. The main reasons I am interested in learning these subjects is to learn the need to advance on Civil Rights to help protect people who are different from discrimination, find ways to reduce crime to improve public safety while protecting people’s civil liberties, protect the environment from pollution, and the need to combat against special interest groups from abusing their power on the people.  Attorney Coakley, I find your work as Attorney General of Massachusetts to be very inspiring to me with your common sense with finding ways to make the system fair.

When you were Attorney General of Massachusetts from 2007-2015, I liked your commitment to be a strong supporter of protecting Civil Rights and being an advocate to protect minorities, women, people with disabilities, and people with sexual orientation from being discriminated.   On helping protect people with disabilities rights including finding ways to have technology be more access to them, I liked on how you used your role as Attorney General to work with Apple Inc. on finding ways to make their Apple I-tunes store, their software, and educational software be more accommodating for people who are blind, people who are deaf, people with mental issues, people with Autism, and other disabilities. On this issue I liked on how you worked with Apple Inc. to help them find ways to follow the American With Disabilities Act and follow Massachusetts Equal Rights Act to reduce discrimination and to help people with disabilities get an access to an educational source when learning different topics.  Another thing I really liked was on how you supported same-sex couples rights by supporting hate crime legislation to help protect them from being targeted by a hate crime and filed suit to challenge the Defense of Marriage Act’s law because it discriminates against b same-sex couples. For the environment, I liked on how you created a coalition with leading 18 states asking the EPA to take action to regulate greenhouse gas because gas emissions causes danger to public health or welfare after the Supreme Court ruled that the EPA does have authority to regulate greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act. To help protect home owners, taxpayers, and people who owned businesses from abuse caused by financial institutions including Wall Street I was very proud of how you stood up to special interest groups including financial institutions by suing Goldman Sachs and Fremont Investment & Loan for their abuse on subprime loans and lending and later winning the settlements with using the settlements to help the state including people who were abused by the financial institutions.

Your work on helping people with disabilities, being an advocate to help them, and protecting people who are different from being discriminated really inspires me to work hard on my disability which is Autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects and have trouble with speech when communicating with other people. When you negotiated with Apple Inc. it really made a great difference for me because Apple Inc. has made their technology with educational software easy for me to work on understanding vocabulary with having audio being read back to me to help me understand comprehension when reading or learning topics.  Also your work as Attorney General got me interested in taking a criminal justice class at my community college in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I enjoyed taking the class because I got to learn about how the court system works, Miranda rights, law enforcement, settlement cases, Supreme Court cases, and different ideas of reform. My instructor also explained in class for the need for Attorney General to help protect victims or people who are different from discrimination or if they are targeted by a crime. After he lectured about what role does an Attorney General does I got very interested in researching your role and I liked on how you worked hard to protect the people from fraud and discrimination.

Ms. Coakley, You make a great example of what an Attorney General needs to be by helping protect people who are different like minorities, women, people with sexual orientation, and people with disabilities from being discriminated, finding ways to negotiate with a company to help improve people’s lives or work on creating accommodations to help people who are different get access or care that they need instead of going to court where it cost taxpayer’s money, and prosecuting financial institutions including special interest groups when they commit fraud, waste, and abuse against homeowners including taxpayers. Your work on working with Apple on finding ways to improve technology to be more access or accommodating to people with disabilities really inspired me to use Apple software including educational software to help assist my disability with improving on learning comprehension.  Also your commitment to improve society inspired me to have an interest in studying the criminal justice system. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, making a great difference, and inspiring me to continue to work hard on studying subjects with having the confidence to work on Autism.  I wish you well at Foley Hoag LLP where you can use great ideas to make society better.

My name is Matthew Winick, an Asian American from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in studying history.  The main reason I have a strong interest in studying history is to learn with understand the need to make Civil Rights stronger to reduce discrimination, have checks and balances in judicial system including the Constitution to help protect people’s civil liberties from being violated while finding ways to reduce crime, protect the environment from pollution, have government reform to reduce corruption in judicial, elections, and public official, and many others.  My main goal is to use history to teach people about the need to improve society with explaining how different core values are important.  Associate Justice Liu, I find your work as a law professor at UC Berkley School of Law and later as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of California to be very inspiring to me with your approach on judicial issues.

When you were professor at UC Berkley School of Law I really liked on you worked on writing different publications dealing with Constitutional law, Civil Rights, educational policy, and the Supreme Court.  My favorite publications that you wrote are “Keeping Faith with the Constitution”, “Rethinking Constitutional Welfare Rights”, “Improving Title I Funding Equality Across States, Districts, and Schools”, “Education, Equality, and National Citizenship”, and “Interstate Inequality in Educational Opportunity”. The reason I really like reading your publications is because I really like on how you express the need to protect Civil Liberties from being violated, explain the need to help protect people who are poor or who need welfare on their rights to get assistance instead of being discriminated by the courts or legislatures, support the need to strengthen Civil Rights in different areas like education, jobs, public places to help people with disabilities, women, minorities, and people with different preferences be protected from discrimination. When you testified in the Senate Judiciary Committee about why you should be nominated for U.S. Court of Appeal for Ninth Circuit I really liked on how you expressed on how a judge should not use ideology when deciding cases, how judges should protect the Constitution from being weakened, and how there is a need to help protect people who are different from being discriminated.  Even though both political parties blocked your nomination and you withdrawing from being considered for the seat, I was very proud of you for your commitment to not play politics, emphasize on the need to protect the Constitution from being weaken or abused, and emphasized the need to protect people who are poor or on welfare and people who are different from being discriminated.  I was very proud of you accepting Governor Brown of California on being nominated on a seat for the Supreme Court of California and later being sworn on the California Supreme Court.  On the California Supreme Court, I like on how you continue being in favor of advancing on Civil Rights with protecting it from being weakened to help protect women, minorities, people with disabilities, and people with different preferences, support women’s rights, defend same-sex couples or people with different sexual orientation from being discriminated, support repair relationship between minorities and judicial system, and being against torture or abuse on an individual when accused of a crime. 

Associate Justice Liu, Your work on writing different publications helped me get inspired to take an Intro to Criminal Justice class at Washtenaw Community College in Winter 2014 where I learned about different Constitutional amendments with how they play a part in the judicial system, how the court systems work, Miranda Rights, law enforcement, and different Supreme Court Cases.  My criminal justice instructor recommended me to read different publications to learn more about the judicial system and how there is a need for reform. Your publications helped me feel motivated to be interested in learning about the criminal justice system, helped me understand how the Constitution plays a role, and understand different ideas of reform to make the system better for people. Also your publications helped me work on creating different ideas for reform in my Criminal Justice class where my instructor helped assist me on it.   Your work on being an advocate to make Civil Rights stronger including a\supporting protecting minorities, gender, people with disabilities, and people with different sexual orientation really inspires me to work hard on Autism with a learning disability.  Having a disability is difficult for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes I have trouble with speech when communicating with other people, and sometimes I get teased by other people about it. Another thing is that your role as an influential Asian American with being an activist for the Asian American Community really inspires me to be confident about being an Asian American when I get teased by some Asian Americans including Asians about having a disability.

Associate Justice Liu, I’m proud to call you a true role model and a true inspiration to me to be interested in learning the criminal justice system, understand the Constitution’s purpose, learn the need for reform to fix the system, and to be interested in history.  Another thing is your activism to help reduce discrimination by advocating to make Civil Rights stronger and help the Asian American communities including Asian communities really inspired me to work hard on Autism with a learning disability, to continue learning, and to be confident about being an Asian American.  I strongly believe that you make a great difference for society, history, the judicial system,  Asian Americans, and many other people with different background.  Also I was wondering if you could please explain to me what it is like being a state Supreme Court Associate Justice and share with me what it like studying law because I plan on learning law to help me expand on learning history. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference with your ideas including being an advocate, and inspiring me. I wish you well on continuing your role as an Associate Justice on California Supreme Court where you can make a great difference and make the judicial system better with reform.

My experience meeting Governor Martin O'Malley of Maryland at his event in Ann Arbor, Michigan

In July 2015, I was web searching and saw that there was an Ann Arbor Happy Hour With Governor Martin O'Malley event on 8/12/2015 where Governor Martin O'Malley of Maryland was coming to Ann Arbor in Ann Arbor Brewing Company.  I clicked the link and found out that you had to pay for the ticket to attend the event. After discovering that it was too expensive for me I decided to sent an email to the O'Malley Campaign where I described about myself like how I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, explained on how Governor O'Malley is an inspiration to me, and how I sent a letter appreciating his work. The campaign responded back to me saying that they would be happy to have me as the governor's guest for the event.  I got really excited about going to the event being the Governor's guest. When I arrived at Ann Arbor Brewing Company the O'Malley campaign was very kind and very enthusiastic about me coming to the event.  Before Governor O'Malley gave a speech I enjoyed talk to other people who attended the event and I got to learn about why they came to the event and how they wanted to learn more about Governor O'Malley's work with his ideas. Governor O'Malley came in and gave a great speech about how he made Maryland become a state to pass the Dream Act, an immigration reform to help immigrants including illegal immigrants on getting an education, improve Civil Rights to reduce discrimination, have regulations on Wall Street to prevent an abuse on the American people, support the need for renewable energy and alternative energy to reduce pollution, and many others. After he gave a speech Governor O'Malley came to talk to me for 10 minutes. During the 10 minutes Governor O'Malley thanked me for being his guest for the event,  Governor O'Malley told me that he enjoyed reading my letter, was moved about how I appreciate his hard work on making a difference, and enjoyed my story about what it like to have Autism with a disability, my goals to make history better, and how i dedicated him to my story. Even he explain some of his ideas to improve society including this country and he took the time  to listen to my concerns or thoughts. After he talked to me I got a photo with him. 

When I walked outside the newspapers asked me what I thought about attending the event and my thoughts of Governor O'Malley. I explained to them on how I was very impressed about how Governor O'Malley explained his policies on Climate Change and Civil Rights.  The newspapers were very kind of me, taking the time to be patient about speaking to them, and were very interested in hearing about what I said.  After leaving the event I felt proud on that day and forever because I appreciate how the O'Malley for President Campaign including the Governor O'Malley went the extra mile for me to be a his guest for the event for free, getting a chance to meet a Governor for the 1st time, having a great conversation with Governor O'Malley including listening to my ideas or thoughts, and how the campaign workers who created with hosting the event treated me with respect.  

I really want to that the O'Malley For President campaign, Governor Martin O'Malley, and Mr. Jacob Kleinrock for taking the time to listen to my concern about attending the event, giving me a chance to be a governor's guest of the event, and meeting Governor O'Malley.

Dear Governor Blanchard,

My name is Matthew Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan and I have a strong interest in studying history.   The main reason history is one of my favorite subjects is because I like to learn the need for Civil Rights to help protect people from being discriminated, a strong need to protect the environment from pollution, the need to help train workers to help improve the economy, and many others.  Also what I like to do with history is to study on how different people can make a great difference with their ideas and their work.  Governor Blanchard, I find your work as Governor of Michigan and later being a U.S. Ambassador to Canada to be very inspiring to me.

When you served as 45^th Governor of Michigan in 1983-1991, I really liked on how you worked hard to help improve Michigan’s economy by creating Michigan Youth Corps, a jobs training program to help train youth improve their work skills and help create jobs, creating a commission on Jobs and Economic Development where you formed a coalition with different business, labor organizations, and education to find common ground on fixing the economy, making worker’s rights stronger, and improving on education,  and implementing a public works project which created jobs to help fix infrastructure, roads, and public transportation to improve public safety.  On education I really liked on how you made it an important issue by creating Michigan Education Trust, a tuition program to help Michiganders in the state get assistance on tuition to go to college in order to get an education, Research Excellence Fund to help get your state get funding to do research on technology with improving technology to be a resourceful tool for people, and the Michigan Model Health Curriculum to help educate students on staying healthy with understanding different health issues. Your work on protecting the environment to make Michigan a better place from pollution and to improve tourism is common sense by strengthening environment protection on The Great Lakes to prevent it from being polluted, having funds to make water, rivers, and lakes clean from toxic chemicals, and supporting educational programs to help address the need to protect the environment from pollution with educating about ideas like conservation, renewable alternative energy, and other ideas to reduce pollution.  Also in your role as Governor of Michigan I really liked on how you continued your commitment to support Civil Rights to help protect minorities, women, and people with disabilities from being discriminated in education, public places, and jobs.  When you were Ambassador to Canada I liked on how you worked with them on improving relations between the U.S. and their country by working to improve environmental protection from pollution and having Open Skies Agreement to improve traveling for people to visit different countries, find ways to improve routes to help make flights safer, and to improve trade on different products.

I took a class about Michigan History at Washtenaw Community College and I enjoyed taking the class because I enjoyed learning about how Michigan had some historical part in U.S. History and how different people from Michigan area help make Michigan become a diverse place. In my Michigan History class I enjoy researching about your work as Governor of Michigan on finding ways to create jobs, improve education with reform, create coalition with different organizations to find ways to improve Michigan, protect the environment, and protect Civil Rights after my teacher gave a lecture about you.  Also your work on these different issues including supporting Civil Rights really inspired me to work hard on Autism, my disability and to have a strong interest in history to learn more about how different core values make a great difference in our country including the world.  Another thing is that your commitment to find ways to improve relations with other countries got me inspired to continue learning more about world history, understand the importance of building relations with other countries to work together on environment, peace, and many others.

 As a Michigander with a strong interest in studying history I am proud to call you one of my favorite U.S. Governors of Michigan because you really made a great difference on finding ways to create jobs with forming coalitions with different organizations to make Michigan a better place, improving education with reform to make learning better for students, protecting the environment from pollution, and supporting Civil Rights.  Also your work as Ambassador to Canada really made a great difference to improve better relations between both countries.  Also I consider you and Governor Jennifer Granholm to be great influential Governors of Michigan. Also I was wondering if you could please explain what it was like being an Ambassador of a country and give me advice about continuing learning history with government policy. Thanks for your hard work on making Michigan great with great ideas with achievements, inspiring me to be interested in history with working hard on Autism, and continuing make a great difference for society.
