Dear Mayor Caldwell,

My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan and I have a strong interest in learning history with public policy. In these subjects I like to learn the need to advance on Civil Rights to help protect people who are different from being discriminated, protect the environment from pollution, find ways to improve public safety to help protect citizens from danger, and many others.  The main reason I’m writing you a letter is because I find your current work as 14^th Mayor of Honolulu, Hawaii to be very inspiring to me.

In your current role as Mayor of Honolulu, I like on how you are a strong supporter of Civil Rights  to protect women, minorities, and people with disabilities from being discriminated in education, public places, and jobs.  Also on Civil Rights, I like on how you are an advocate for people with disabilities’ rights, make public places have accommodations to help people with disabilities to get access to them through transportation or getting assistance on different services, support LGBT rights to help protect them from being discriminated based on their orientation, and express the need to help expand equal pay for women.  Fixing roads to help reduce potholes ompleting a rail train to help transport people from East Kapolei to Downtown Honolulu to help people get to their destination including reduce long traffic waits, and push for laws to combat against hate-crimes are great ways to improve public safety.  On the environment, I am proud on how you are a strong supporter of funding renewable energy projects (wind, solar, biofuel, and energy efficient products) to help reduce addiction to oil with gas, expand funds to help clean beaches along with parks to help reduce pollution while make them safe for people to use, and fix water pipes to help provide people with safe water for them to use.  To help the homeless I like on how you provide hygiene facilities to help make people who are homeless healthy, expand on funds for homeless shelters to help provide then with shelters, and work on funding health services to help them get the medical care they need.   Another thing that I like about your work as Mayor is on how you help fund historical areas including national parks to be preserved to improve tourism and to make learning history a better place for people to learn. Also I like on how you use your role as Mayor to help recognize police officers, activists, minorities, women, veterans, and people with disabilities who work hard to help make society better.

Mayor Caldwell, I have Autism with a learning disability. Having Autism is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects especially new things, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights and support people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your work to help recognize people from different backgrounds inspires me to write letters to people who I believe that make a great difference or how they inspire me. Also your work as Mayor of Honolulu inspires me to continue being motivated to continue my interest in learning history with public policy.  My future goal is to someday teach people about the need to improve society or work in public policy to help shape common sense ideas to help make society better.  

I strongly believe that you make a great difference for society in your current role as Mayor of Honolulu.  You have truly inspire me to continue to work hard on my disability, continue my interest in learning history, and to help recognize people who work hard to make a great difference or who inspire me by writing letters.  I was wondering if you could please share with me what it is like being Mayor of Honolulu and explain what Honolulu is like.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference for society, and inspiring me. Dear Mr. Thomas,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv shows that you played in are The Waltons, It’s A Miracle, and Just Cause.  In the Waltons, I enjoyed the plot of the show about The Walton family in a rural town of Virginia where they experience on how their lives are impacted during historical periods ranging from Great depression, WW II, and other significant events.  Mr. Thomas, I really thought you did an excellent job portraying John ”John-Boy” Walton Jr. because I liked on how you made him have interesting traits like being a serious thinker when he has to deal with understanding how society works and how he works hard to overcome different challenges when he deals in historical events where it helps shape him in a certain way.  In the Waltons, I really liked on how you made your character also play a role in trying to understand American history like trying to save a person’s life during the Hindenburg disaster and enlist in the military during World War II along with when Pearl Harbor was attacked.  Also what I enjoyed about the show was on how the family had different views about how the historical vents played a role or how different members of the Walton family have unique traits.   It’s A Miracle was an interesting show on PAX-TV because I really liked on how the show had a great focus on how people had experienced miracles in their lifetime or when they had a struggles. It did a great job explaining about the cause of a situation, how the person felt or what their experience was, and how a miracle played a role.  You did a really great job hosting the show because I liked on how you helped connect with people who had struggles or how they were affected by a miracle, did a great job narrating a story, and had a great message at the end of the episodes about the need to work hard at overcoming different struggles.   Another show that I watched was Just Cause and I liked the show due to having a great plot about a woman named Alexandra who went to prison for a crime that she didn’t commit then she decided to get a law degree from taking law classes online, later she goes to work for a well respected attorney Hamilton Whitney III where they work on cases together.  The main reasons I really liked the how was on how it dealt with civil cases, how Alexandra has a trait where she is willing to use the law to help people who feel abandoned by the judicial system or can’t afford a lawyer while Hamilton Whitney is more interested in willing to represent clients who are willing to pay, and  how later Whitney and Alex put their differences to work together in order to help people who are less powerful achieve justice.

Your role in the Waltons motivated me to have an interest in learning American History.  In American History I like to learn about different famous people in America worked hard to overcome different struggles to make our country unique, the need for Civil Rights to reduce discrimination, continue to make social justice a better place, and learn how different significant events in American history helped shaped society.  The show also helped me understand how society gets affected in different ways by historical events.  When I was young I use to watch It’s A Miracle on PAX TV because it really had great moral lessons that there can be miracles when times are tough or in an obstacle. Mr. Thomas, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because  I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with autism is when I lose friends due to being getting judgmental and struggle to find friendships.  Your host of It’s A Miracle and your message about not giving up when there are struggles or obstacles motivates me to work hard on my disability.

Mr. Thomas, I believe that you are a great actor and do such a great job portraying characters including develop interesting or unique traits. Also you did a great job hosting It’s a Miracle because you have a great message, help connect with people who struggled with an obstacle or other issues, and many others.  You have inspired me to continue my interest in learning American history and to continue to work hard on autism when there are challenges. Here is a picture of me as a gift to you and $5 donation for you to use to help fund the arts. Dear Mr. Karl,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting.  My favorite tv show that you played in was Law And Order SVU. Law and Order SVU has an interesting plot about the Special Victims Unit of detectives where they work on dealing with sex crimes while the prosecutor prosecute people who commit the crimes.   In Season 17 of Law And Order SVU, I enjoyed Sergeant Mike Dodds working with Lieutenant  Benson, Detective Rollins, Detective Fin, Detective Carisi, and ADA Rafael Barba on different cases. Mr. Karl, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Sergeant Mike Dodds because I liked on how you made Sergeant Dodds have a great traits like willing to review different evidence including witness statements to solve a case and working to resolve differences with different detectives when they disagree about how the case is going.  Another thing was in season 17 of Law And Order SVU I thought you did a great job with the rest of the cast doing a crossover with Chicago P.D. on solving the case.   At the end of Season 17 I was sad that your character left Law And Order SVU because you really did a great job making Sergeant Dodds a great fit for the show.  Besides enjoying your acting in Law And Order SVU, I enjoy watching you on youtube where you explain what it is like being a Broadway actor in the plays. Another thing is I appreciate on how you are an activism to help support the arts to make education including diversity a better place.

Mr. Karl, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me due to have some struggles like trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your activism to improve diversity and support the arts really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actor and you do such a great job making your character have interesting traits. You really did an excellent job in Law And Order SVU making season 17 a great season and your character Sergeant Dodds have great traits.  Even though you left the show, I was very proud on how you made the episodes of Law And Order SVU great.  I hope someday you can star in different tv shows because you are very talented and really do such an excellent job making characters interesting or unique. I was wondering  if you could please take the time to share what it was like playing in Law And Order SVU or giving me some advice about acting.  Mr. Karl, you inspired me to be a fan of your character in Law And Order SVU and learn more about your life as a Broadway actor. My name is Matthew Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in learning history, public policy, social justice, and the criminal justice system.  In these main subjects, I like to learn the need for Civil Rights to be strong to reduce discrimination, have criminal justice reform to improve people’s rights while reduce crime, and many others.  Attorney Olson, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your work as U.S. Attorney for the District of Idaho to be very inspiring to me.

In 2010, I was very proud on how you accepted President Obama to serve as U.S. Attorney for the District of Idaho to help him make a great difference for our country.  On Civil Rights, I liked on how you advocated for people with disabilities’ rights, prosecuted people who committed hate-crimes to help protect minorities including women and people with disabilities from being targeted, and work with law enforcement to find ways to reduce racial profiling to help protect minorities’ rights.  Another thing that I liked about your role as U.S. Attorney was on how you combated against illegal weapon sales, prosecuted health insurance companies that committed fraud, expanded treatment programs to help victims of crime or people who used drugs get the care they need, and pushed for educational awareness about the need to reduce gun violence including how to protect people from fraud activities.  Also I liked on how you used your role as U.S. Attorney to work with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to work with Native American tribal communities to help train police officers to combat against crime, push for programs to help Native American youth from turning to crime, and expand programs to help protect Native Americans who are victims of crime get protection.

Attorney Wilson, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights and be an advocate for people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Your role as U.S. Attorney for the District of Idaho motivates me to continue my interest in learning history including public policy. My future goal is to someday use what I learn from these subjects is to push for common sense ideas or teach people about the need to make Civil Rights stronger and have criminal justice reform to protect people’s rights while combating against crime.

I strongly believe that you made a great difference for our country and the criminal justice system.
