Dear U.S. District Judge Wright,

My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in learning history and social justice.  In these subjects, I like to learn the need for Civil Rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, have criminal justice reform to help protect people’s rights while reduce crime, and many others. U.S. District Judge Wright, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your work when you served as in the Associate Justice in the Minnesota Supreme Court and in your current role as U.S. District Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota to be very inspiring me.

In August 2012, I liked on how you accepted Governor Mark Dayton to be appointed to serve in the Minnesota Supreme Court to help advocate for criminal justice reform.  On September 2012, I was amazed on how you made history by becoming the first African American woman to serve in the Minnesota Supreme Court.  When you served as Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court from 2012-2016, I really appreciated on how you were a strong supporter of Civil Rights by advocating for people with disabilities’ rights, supporting the need for the judicial system including law enforcement to reduce racial profiling to help protect minorities including immigrants from being oppressed, and expressing the need to improve laws to combat against hate-crime in order to help protect minorities including people who are different.  Also when you served in the Minnesota Supreme Court, I liked on how you were a strong supporter of Criminal justice reform like support the need to expand drug treatment programs to help drug-users get the care they need to reduce drug addiction, push for more programs to help victims of crime or victims of domestic violence get assistance from the court system with the law enforcement resources to reduce their trauma, and express the need for more funds for forensic science including DNA testing to help solve evidence efficiently while reduce sending an innocent person to jail.   In April 2015, I liked on how you accepted President Obama to nominate you to serve in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota to help him improve the judicial system including the criminal justice system.  In your current role as U.S. District Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, I’m very proud on how you are a continuous supporter of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights,  advocate for criminal justice reform, and continue to protect basic civil liberties like the fourth amendment to help protect people from unreasonable search warrants.

U.S. District Judge Wright, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights  really inspires me to work hard on m disability.   Your role as Associate Justice on the Minnesota Supreme Court and your current role as U.S. District Judge give me motivation to continue to learn history including social justice. My future goal is to someday work in these areas to help emphasize the importance of making Civil Rights stronger to reduce discrimination,  the need to improve social justice to make communities safe,  have criminal justice reform to help protect people’s rights while reduce crime, and many others.  

I strongly believe that you made a great difference in the judicial system. I’m very proud on how you are working hard to push for criminal justice reform and support Civil Rights. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, learn about your work in the judicial system, and to continue to learn history including social justice. My letter and my picture of me is a gift to you for inspiring me and for Black History Month to help recognize African Americans who work hard to make a great difference for society. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to improve criminal justice reform, and inspiring me. I wish you the best to continue to advocate for common sense ideas in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Dear State Minority Leader Erpelding,

My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in learning history with public policy. In these subjects, I like to learn the need to make Civil Rights stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and many others.  State Minority Leader Erpelding, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your role as Idaho State House Minority Leader to be very inspiring to me.

In your current role as Idaho State House Minority Leader, I’m very proud on how you are a continuous strong supporter of Civil Rights by advocating for people with disabilities’ rights, expressing the need for equal pay for women, pushing to expand laws to combat against hate-crime to protect minorities, and supporting LGBT rights.  Your approach on protecting the environment by supporting renewable energy projects to help reduce addiction to oil with gas, support the need to keep oil including gas industries accountable when they pollute the environment which endangers people, and providing funds to help clean up water resources including parks to make them safe for people to use is common sense.  On social justice, I like your continuous advocacy for the need for laws to make law enforcement reduce racial profiling to protect minorities from being targeted, support the need for immigration reform to protect immigrants including refugees from being persecuted without probable cause, and push for need for treatment programs to help drug-users get the care they need.  Even though the state legislature has been making it hard for education reform including economic growth and health care, I’m really proud on how you are continuing supporting the need to fund special education to help students with disabilities get help on their education, expressing the need for job-training programs to help train youth including workers to develop job-skills to help prepare them for the economy, and pushing for the need for healthcare to help veterans, children, and people with pre-existing conditions get the care they need or medical help.  Another thing that I like about your role as Idaho State House Minority Leader is how you are a strong supporter of the need for campaign finance reform to reduce money from corporations to elections including political campaigns to reduce corruption in election, support the idea of the need to ban gifts to public officials form lobbyist, and introduce The Office of The Inspector General legislation to investigate any public official who is accused of corruption, create an independent office form the government with provide a protective place for employees to file a concern about fraud or other issues,  and to protect taxpayers money to reduce fraud with abuse.

Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Your continuous support of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  On The New Deal website about Progressive leaders ranging from state legislatures, U.S. Mayors, attorneys, and other public officials, I enjoy learning about your work as a progressive with basic principles. Also on the website, I really liked on how you explained the need to conservation of public lands to protect them from being polluted, support renewable energy sources to reduce pollution while protect the environment, expand on Civil Rights legislation.  Another thing is I enjoyed watching you on You tube  explaining about your bill to create The Office of The Inspector General because I liked on how you explain the need to reduce corruption in government including public officials and did an excellent job emphasizing the need to improve integrity while reduce abuse on tax-payers money. Your role as Idaho State House Minority Leader motivates me to continue to my interest in learning history with public policy. My future goal is to someday work in history where I can emphasize the need to make Civil Rights stronger, protect the environment from pollution, have ethics reform to reduce corruption, and many others.      

I strongly believe that you are making a great difference in the Idaho state legislature.  Even though it is difficult to push for common sense ideas, I’m very proud on how you are working hard to push for great ideas.  You have inspired me to work hard on my disability, have an interest in learning more about your progressive principles,  and be motivated to learn more history with public policy.  I was wondering if you could please share what it is like being state house minority leader.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to support common sense ideas, and inspiring me.  I wish you well to continue to advocate for great ideas.

My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in learning history, public policy, and the criminal justice system.  In these subjects,  I like to learn the need to advance on Civil Rights to help protect people who are different from being discriminated,  have checks with balances in the criminal justice system to help protect people’s civil liberties while reduce crime, and many others. Sheriff Clayton, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is because I find your work as Sheriff of Washtenaw County, Michigan to be very inspiring to me.

In your current role as Sheriff of Washtenaw County Michigan, I am very proud on how you are a strong supporter of protecting women, minorities, people with disabilities, and people with different sexual orientation from being discriminated. Also on Civil Rights, I like on how you advocate for people with disabilities’ rights, work with minorities communities along with law enforcement to find ways to reduce racial profiling, and expand on law enforcement resources to help combat against hate-crime to help protect people who are different from being targeted. Expanding treatment programs to help drug-users or victims of domestic violence get the care they need, pushing for community service to help non-violent offenders including juveniles get rehabilitated so they won’t re-offend, and supporting funds for forensic science including DNA testing to help solve crimes efficiently or reduce sending an innocent person to jail are great ways to reform the criminal justice system.  On public safety, I like on how you expanded jails to help keep violent offenders off the street, provided more funds for training to help law enforcement including sheriff be prepared to handle emergencies, and have community outreach programs with educational awareness for the community to help address to the community about the need to reduce drugs along with gun violence and need to reduce bullying.

Sheriff Clayton,  I have Autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Your commitment to support Civil Rights, reduce racial profiling, and advocate for people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Also your role as Sheriff of Washtenaw County motivated me to take a class called Intro to Criminal Justice at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan back in 2014. In the class I enjoyed learning about how the court system works, Miranda rights, procedures of law enforcement, and different ideas to reform the criminal justice system. I enjoyed learning about the criminal justice system.  Another thing is your commitment to make our community safe and your role as Sheriff of Washtenaw County, Michigan motivates me to continue my interest in learning history with public policy.  My future goal is to someday work in history or public policy to help create common sense ideas to make society better. 

I strongly believe that  you are doing such a great job making society including the criminal justice system a better place. Sheriff Clayton, I’m very  proud on how you are working hard to make a difference.  You have inspired me to work hard on my disability, be motivated to take a criminal justice class, and continue my interest in learning history with public policy.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, doing an excellent job making a great difference, and inspiring me. Dear Ms. Jacobs,

My name is Matt Winick and I enjoy your acting. My favorite tv show that you use to play in was Community. Community was a great comedy/drama tv show about Jeff Winger who enrolls to Greendale Community College where he creates a study group filled with Britta, Abed, Shirley, Annie, Troy, and Pierce where they have different adventures and work together on different things.  In Community,  I really liked on how it had the members of the study group work hard on friendships when they are from different background or when there was a conflict.  Ms. Jacobs,  I thought you did an excellent job portraying Britta Perry because I liked on how you made her  have different unique traits like  working hard to care about her friends when she has different personality, how she is a voice of reason for members of the study group when there is a conflict, and many others.  I really enjoyed watching season 1 through 6. Another thing that I liked about Community was how it did different parodies of current events or movies.

Ms. Jacobs, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with it is when I have trouble with friendships due to some peers including some friends tease me about being different from other people, I lose motivation in myself, and many others.  Your role as Britta and the Community tv show really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Also the study group on working on improving their friendships when they are different or have a conflict gives me motivation to learn more about the need for friendships and how having friends can be helpful to people.

I strongly believe that you really did an excellent job making Community a great comedy/drama tv show. You, Mr. Joel McHale,  Mr. Danny Pudi, Ms. Yvette Brown,  Mr. Donald Glover, and Mr. Chase did a great job making your characters in the study group have great traits including a sense of humor.  You,  the rest of the Community cast, and Community really inspires me to work hard on my disability and to learn about the importance of friendships. Here is a picture of me and $5 as a gift to you for inspiring me.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, making Community a great tv show, and inspiring me.   I wish you well for the future in acting,
