Dear Attorney Heaphy,

My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in learning history and social justice. In these subjects, I like to learn the need for Civil Rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and have criminal justice reform to help protect people’s rights while reduce crime,. Attorney Heaphy, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your work when you served as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia to be very inspiring to me.

In 2009, I liked on how you accepted President Obama to be nominated to serve as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia to help him improve the criminal justice system along with help our country.  When you served as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia from 2009-2015, I really appreciated on how you were a strong supporter of Civil Rights by advocating for people with disabilities’ rights, prosecuting people who commit hate-crime against minorities including people who are different, and investigating public places that practiced discrimination.  Your approach on criminal justice reform like expanding drug treatment programs to help drug-users get the care they need to reduce drug-abuse,  supporting expanding funds for forensic science including DNA testing to help solve cases efficiently while reduce sending an innocent person to jail,  working with law enforcement resources to improve programs to help victims of domestic violence or victims of crime get help on reducing their trauma, and expressing the need for the criminal justice system to reduce racial profiling to help protect minorities including immigrants from being oppressed is common sense. Another thing that I liked about your work as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia is how you prosecuted industries or companies that violated environmental protection laws to help protect the environment while improve public health, went after financial companies including health care insurance companies that committed fraud, and launched investigations in public officials who were corrupt or accepted illegal bribes.   After you left your role as U.S. Attorney, I was very proud on how you worked with your law firm Hunton & Williams and the City of Charlottesville to conduct an independent review to see the city’s response to the three separate white supremacist events in the city to find ways on how to improve public safety to protect people who are different or minorities from being targeted by white supremacist,  how the police should be protective of people from being harmed, and expressing the need to strengthen laws to combat against hate-crime.

Attorney Heaphy, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Also I read your independent review that you worked and I enjoyed reading some of it because it did a great job emphasizing the need to protect people who are different including minorities, a strong importance of combating against hate-crime, and many others. Your role as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia gives me motivation to continue to learn history with social justice.  My future goal is to someday work in these areas to help emphasize the need for Civil Rights to be stronger, protect the environment, and have criminal justice reform.

I strongly believe that you made a great difference when you served as U.S. Attorney. I’m very proud on how you worked hard to support Civil Rights, push for criminal justice reform, and many others.  Also l especially like on how you work really hard on launching independent review  to help give feedback on how to improve public safety.  You have inspired me to work hard on my disability and to continue to learn different subjects like history with social justice.  I was wondering if you could please explain what it was like doing an independent review of the City of Charlottesville and explain your highlights of being a U.S. Attorney.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, doing an excellent job making a great difference, and inspiring me. My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in learning history and social justice.  In these subjects, I like to learn the need to make Civil Rights stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and many others.  Mayor Tannehill, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your work as 36^th Mayor of Oxford, Mississippi to be very inspiring to me.

In your current role as 36^th Mayor of Oxford, Mississippi, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of Civil Rights by advocating for people with disabilities’ rights, supporting funds for minorities including women businesses to help them compete in the economy, expressing the need for equal pay for women, and pushing to expand laws to combat against hate-crime to help protect minorities including people who are different.  To improve the economy, I like on how you work on expanding job training programs to help train youth including workers to develop work-skills to help prepare for the work force and team up with career fairs to help them help improve giving details to people about the job description.  Supporting funds for renewable energy resources to help reduce addiction to oil with gas, working to improve city services to help clean parks including water resources to make them safe for people to use.  I like your approach on improving education reform like fund special education to help students with disabilities get the educational resources they need to learn, provide more after school programs to provide youth on getting help on their assignments from tutors, and expand on literacy programs to help students improve on their comprehension.  Another thing that I like about your work as Mayor of Oxford, Mississippi is how you are supporting fund to help restore historical sites including museums with attractions to improve tourism while make learning a better place, advocate for the need for affordable housing to help people who can’t afford to live have shelter, and  support the need to reduce racial profiling in the criminal justice system to help protect minorities including immigrants from being oppressed.

Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Also your role as current Mayor of Oxford, Mississippi gives me motivation to continue to learn history including social justice.  On the NewDeal website about progressive leaders ranging for public officials through Mayors sharing ideas about how to make a great difference for society, I enjoy reading some of your ideas like the need for affordable housing to help people who can’t afford to live, improve social justice programs to help make communities safe, and many others.  My future goal is to someday work in these areas to help emphasize  the need to make Civil Rights stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment form pollution, and many others.

I strongly believe that you are making a great difference for society. My name is Matt Winick, an Asian American from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in learning history, social justice, and public policy. In these subjects, I like to learn the importance of making Civil Rights stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, improve social justice to help people, and many others.  City Council President Wu, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your role as Boston City Council President and as City Councilor At-Large of Boston City Council to be very inspiring to me.

In November 2013, I was amazed on how you made history by becoming the first Asian American woman to serve on the Boston City Council.  Also later in January 2016, I was very proud on how you made history on becoming the first woman of color to become Boston City Council President.  On Civil Rights, I like on how you advocate for people with disabilities’ rights, support funding women including minorities businesses to help them compete in the economy, express the need for women to have equal pay, and support LGBT rights.  Working with members of city council and Mayor Marty Walsh to expand on job-training programs to help train youth including workers to develop job-skills in order to prepare them for the work force and support the need to raise the minimum wage to help minimum wage workers afford to live are great ways to improve the economy.  To improve education, I like your approach like fund special education to help students with disabilities get educational resources they need to assist them on learning, expand on arts including diversity programs to help teach people the importance of diversity in society, and push for after-school programs to help students get assistance on their assignments. Providing funds for Asian American communities to help repair them, implementing diversity programs to help educate people about Asian American culture, advocating for Asian American with disabilities’ rights, and pushing for resolution to help spread or recognize Asian American culture are great ways to help the Asian American communities.  To protect the environment, I like on how you work on encouraging small businesses including industries to use energy-efficient products to reduce polluting the environment, pushing for funds to clean parks including water resources to make them safe for people to use, and supporting funds for renewable energy projects to reduce addiction to oil with gas. Another thing that I like about your current role as City Council President is how you sponsored Boston’s Paid Parental Leave ordinance to give paid leave for parents who work for the city when they have a child and authored Boston’s Communication Access ordinance which provides assistance technology which has translation or interpretation for people who struggle to speak English or have a communications disability.  

City Council President Wu, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights and your continuous advocacy for people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Also being an Asian American with autism is very difficult for me because some Asians including some Asian Americans tease me about having a disability including how they believe that I don’t meet their standards.  However, your role as an Asian American public official, support Asian American with disabilities’ rights, and help Asian American communities along with other issues related to them gives me motivation to continue to be proud to be an Asian American even when I struggle with a disability and to develop an interest in learning Asian American including Asian culture with history. My letter is a gift to you for inspiring me and for May Asian Pacific American Heritage Month to recognize Asian American individuals who work hard to make a great difference for society. Also your role as City Council President and as City Councilor At-Large of Boston City Council gives me motivation to continue to learn history with social justice. 

I strongly believe that you are making a great difference for society including the Asian American communities in your current role.  I’m very proud on how you are working hard to improve Civil Rights, find ways to make social justice a better place, and many others.  You have inspired me to work hard on my disability,  continue to be proud to be an Asian  American when I face struggles, and to continue to learn history with social justice.  I was wondering if you could please share some advice about working hard on a disability and explain your role as city council president. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, making a great difference, and inspiring me. I wish you well in your current role to continue to make a great difference for society and the Asian American communities.

Dear Mr. Bateson,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your voice acting. My favorite video game that you voiced in is the Hitman series.  In the Hitman series, I enjoy the plot of the series about Agent 47/Hitman on how he goes after the targets to help protect people including his agency.  In the games, I really like on how it has a balance between stealth and being observant of details.  My favorite Hitman games that I like are Hitman Blood Money and Hitman. The main reason I like those game the best is because I’m a RPG videogame player where there can be many options of how to complete the mission.  Mr. Bateson, you do such an excellent job voicing as Agent 47/Hitman because I like on how you make him unique traits like being resourceful on different details, make him have a good balance of being serious while have a sense of humor, and many others.         

Mr. Bateson, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects at a certain pace, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.   Your role as Agent 47/Hitman gives me some inspiration to work hard on my disability and be creative when I play videogames.   Also the Hitman games that I play with different creative ways to complete the mission is helpful to me to find ways to help improve myself with a learning disability.   On Youtube I enjoyed watching “David Bateson Agent 47 Interview” because I had fun learning about how you started acting in order to make some money and how you enjoyed voicing as Agent 47/Hitman. Also one of my goals is if I can’t find a job in history or in public policy I would like to be a voice actor where I can be creative.  If I decide to be a voice actor I would like to focus on cartoons or videogames.

I strongly believe that you are making a great difference in making Hitman series a great videogame series.  You do such an excellent job making Agent 47/Hitman a great character with different unique traits. You have truly inspired me to work hard on my disability, be creative when I play videogames, learn more about your work as a voice actor, and many others.  Here is a picture of me dressed like a spy with a nice message as a gift to you to keep. I was wondering if you could please give me some advice about how to become a voice actor on a sheet of paper.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, doing an excellent job voicing as Agent 47/Hitman, and inspiring me.  I wish you the best for the future and to continue to make Hitman a great character.
