Dear Dr. Judy Ho,

My name is Matt Winick, an Asian American and I have a strong interest in learning history including social justice.  In these subjects,  I like to learn the need for Civil Rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, the need to improve social justice to help make communities safe, and many others. Dr. Ho, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your work as a Clinical/ Forensic Psychologist, as a tv host of different tv shows, and many others to be very inspiring to me.

I liked on how you created STAGES Project, a non-profit organization that helps at-risk youth by using arts including music as therapy.  Also I liked on how you created PEP4SAFE a no-cost psychoeducational program to help train along with educate parents including teachers to understand how to help students who deal with different issues or mental health.   When you co-host or are an panelist on The Dr. Drew Show and The Doctors I like your approach on how you talk to viewers about different mental illnesses, how to understand how to deal with depression,  and a strong need for to end cyber bulling to help protect people from being bullied.   Your perspective in Crime Watch Daily and other crime reality shows on explaining how forensic science is important to solve cases,  explaining how the criminal or a murderer’s motives on committing the crime, express the importance of schools including health services to find ways to educate people about how to identify mental health.   Recently I started to watch Face The Truth. Face The Truth is a great show because I liked on how you, Ms. Vivica A. Fox,  Rosie Mercado, attorney Areva Martin, and Judge Scary Mary on working to provide some advice to guest who have conflicts, dealing with different issues,  and relationship challenges. In Face The Truth, I really liked on how you use your experience from psychology career to help mediate guest along with giving some of them advice about how to seek treatment or help when they face struggles. Besides your work in the psychology field and tv host I really appreciate on how you are a strong advocate for the need to make Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights to reduce discrimination for minorities, women, and people with disabilities, be a continuous advocate for the need to reduce bullying including cyber bullying, and continue to help educate people about mental illness including the need to find ways to improve mental health.   Also I really like on how you use your role as an Asian American on expressing the need for more Asian American awareness to help educate people about Asian American culture, advocate for Asian American rights including Asian American with disabilities’ rights,  and many others.

Dr. Ho,  I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Also I have experienced in being bullied on social media and outside of social media by some of my friends, some of my friends, and peers due to having a disability and how they believe that I’m not perfect like them.  Your continuous strong supporter along with your advocacy for Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights and the need to end bullying including cyber bullying really inspires me to work hard on my disability and try my best to motivate myself from recovering from being bullied many times.  Also on Youtube and your Facebook page I enjoy seeing and watching your thoughts about psychology, explaining about mental health, some of your tips to improve mental health, and some of your advocacy.  Also being an Asian American with a disability is difficult for me because some Asians including some Asian Americans tease me about how I’m not perfect like them or how they believe that I don’t meet their standards. Your role as an Asian American to help advocate for Asian American rights including Asian Americans with disabilities gives me some motivation to try to be confident about being an Asian American when I face different difficulties.  Your role as an forensic expert, as tv host/ correspondent, and  as psychologist gives me lots  motivation to watch you talk about these topics.

I strongly believe that you are making a great difference in society. I’m very proud on how you are working hard to help educate people about mental health, advocate for the need to reduce bullying, and give advice to people about how to improve mental health.   Also your advocacy for Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights is common sense.  You have inspired me to work hard on my disability, learn about life lessons from your work, and continue to work hard on being confident when I face difficulties with a disability and as an Asian American. I was wondering if you could give me some advice about how to recover from being bullied or how to be motivated to work hard on my disability, and if you could pleas take the time to answer some of my questions.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Dear Mr. Cumming,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you currently playing in is Instinct. Instinct is an interesting show about Dr. Dylan Reinhart, an author, professor, and former CIA officer comes back to help the NYPD to solve different cases where criminals or a serial killer uses Reinhart’s books for inspiration to crime.  Mr. Cumming, I think you do such an excellent job portraying as Dr. Dylan Reinhart because I liked on how you make Dr. Reinhart have different unique traits like being resourceful on evaluating different methods or examining evidence related to the crime, using his skill as an author to help the relate his novels to help solve a cases, and partnering up with NYPD Detective Lizzie Needham on solving cases. In Instinct season 1 I really like the friendships between Dr. Dylan Reinhart and NYPD Detective Lizzie Needham on how they use different approaches to solve a case and work on resolving their conflicts when they disagree.

Besides your acting career I like on how you are an activist on supporting Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ causes, helping raise money to help combat against AIDS, advocating for universal health care to help people who can’t afford health insurance or have pre-existing conditions get health care they need, and many others.  Mr. Cummings, I have autism  with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Your commitment to be a strong supporter and advocate for Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Also your role as Dr. Dylan Reinhart on his friendship with NYPD Detective Lizzie helps give me some motivation to learn how friendships work.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actor.  You do such an excellent job making Dr. Dylan Reinhart have unique traits in Instinct. Also I truly appreciate your activism because it makes a great difference for society. You inspire me to work hard on my disability and be a fan of your acting. My name is Matt Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in learning history and social justice.  In these subjects, I like to learn the need for Civil Rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and many others. Governor Murphy,  the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your work as 56^th Governor of New Jersey to be very inspiring to me.

In your current role as 56^th Governor of New Jersey, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of Civil Rights by advocating for people with disabilities’ rights, working to expand laws to combat against hate-crime to help protect minorities including people who are different, supporting funds to help women including minorities businesses to help compete in the economy, and expressing the need for equal pay for women to protect them from being discriminated based on gender. I like your approach on working to improve the economy by expanding job-training programs to help train youth including workers to develop work-skills and expressing the need to raise the minimum wage to $15 to help minimum wage workers afford to live is common sense. Another thing that I like about your ideas to improve the economy is how you strongly advocate for the need for paid sick leave to help workers get the care they need when they are sick and support health care for part time workers.  On education, I like on how you support funds to help improve special education to provide students with disabilities with accommodations they need to learn, work on expand after school programs to provide youth with assistance from tutors on their assignments, and team up with different schools to expand more classes in arts, history, and diversity to make education diverse to learn.  Supporting renewable energy resources to help reduce addiction to oil with gas, working with city government along with the New Jersey state legislature on providing funds to help clean parks including water resources to make them safe for people to use, and joining the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative to work with other states to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is common sense to protect the environment from pollution.   Another thing that I like about your work as Governor of New Jersey is how you support the idea of the need to legalize marijuana for people who need it for medical reasons including reduce high charges for someone who smokes it, support funds for Planned Parenthood to help improve women’s health,  created the Office of Immigrant Protection to help assist immigrants or refugees to get legal help when they face deportation, heavily advocate for the need for immigration reform to help protect immigrants including refugees from being oppressed, and implemented States for Gun Safety, a coalition filled with governors of different states including activist along with state legislature to find ways to reduce gun violence.  Also I like on how you are working hard to have a diverse cabinet filled with minorities, women, and people with disabilities.   

Governor Murphy, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Also on your Facebook page “Governor Phil Murphy” I enjoy learning about your work as Governor of New Jersey and listen to your speeches on advocating for common sense ideas. Also your current role as Governor of New Jersey gives me motivation to continue to learn history with social justice. My future goal is to someday work in these subjects to learn the importance of making Civil Rights stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and improve social justice to make communities a better place.

I strongly believe that you are making a great difference in your current role. I’m extremely proud on how you are working hard to support expanding Civil Rights, protect the environment, improve social justice, and many others. Mayor De La Isla, the main reason I’m writing you a letter is to explain how I find your work as Mayor of Topeka, Kansas to be very inspiring to me.

in January 2018, I was amazed on how you made history by becoming the first Hispanic woman to become Mayor of Topeka, Kansas.  In your current role as Mayor of Topeka, Kansas, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of Civil Rights by advocating for people with disabilities’ rights, supporting funds for women including minorities businesses to help them compete in the economy,  working with city council to expand laws to combat against hate-crime to help protect minorities including people who are different, and expressing the need for equal pay for women to help protect them from being discriminated in pay based on gender.   Pushing for more job-training programs to help train youth including workers to develop work-skills, expanding tax credits to small businesses to help them hire more people to work for them, and heavily advocating for the need to raise the minimum wage to help assist minimum wage workers afford to live is common sense to improve the economy.  On education, I like on how you increase funds for special education to help students with disabilities get the educational resources they need to improve learning, implement more after school programs to provide youth on getting help on their assignments from tutors, expand  more literacy programs to help youth improve on their comprehension, and support funds for arts, history, and diversity classes to help make education diverse to learn. On the environment, I like your approach to protect the environment by supporting funds for renewable energy resources to help reduce addiction to oil with gas, encouraging businesses to use energy-efficient products to reduce high energy cost while reduce pollution, and providing funds to help clean parks including water resources to make them safe for people to use.  Another thing that I like about your work as Mayor of Topeka, Kansas is how are a strong advocate for immigration reform to help protect immigrants including refugees from being oppressed, push for funds to help restore historical sites including attractions to help improve tourism while make learning history a better place, and push for more homeless shelters to help people who are homeless get the care they need. 

Mayor De La Isla, I have autism with a learning disability.  Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  On cjonline.com The Topeka Capital-Journal article “Michelle De La Isla becomes Topeka’s first Hispanic mayor” because I enjoyed learning about how you overcame you struggle  of being homeless to have a college degree,  working for Topeka Habitat for Humanity, and later get involve in local politics.  Also your role as Mayor of Topeka, Kansas gives me motivation to continue to learn history with social justice. My future goal is to someday work in these areas to help emphasize the need for Civil Rights to be stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, improve social justice to make communities a better place, and many others.

I strongly believe that you made a great difference in your current role.  I’m very proud on hoe you accomplished on overcoming your struggle on being homeless to become the first Hispanic women to become Mayor of Topeka, Kansas.  Another thing to add is that I like on how you are working hard to support Civil Rights, protect the environment, and improve social justice.  You have inspired me to continue to work hard on my disability, be motivated to learn history including social justice, and enjoy learning about some of your life.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. In December 2017, I was amazed on how you made history by becoming the first African American woman to become Mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina.  In your current role as 59^th Mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of Civil Rights by advocating for people with disabilities’ rights, supporting funds for women including minorities businesses, and working with city council members to expand on laws to combat against hate-crime.  On the economy, I liked on how you expand more job-training programs to help train youth including workers to develop work-skills and advocate for the need to raise the minimum wage to help minimum wage worker afford to live.  Supporting funds to improve special education to help people with disabilities get accommodation they need to learn, expanding on after school programs to help provide students with help on their assignments, implementing more art, history, diversity, and basic classes to make education diverse is common sense for education reform.  On the environment,  I liked on how you push for more funds into renewable energy resources to help reduce addiction to oil with gas,  expand on funds to help maintain parks including water resources to make them safe for people to use, and push for environmental education to help educate people about the need for environmental protection.  Another thing that I like about your work as Mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina is how you are trying to push for affordable housing to help people who are low-income or who can’t afford to live,  expand food along with health services to help people who are homeless get help, and hiring women, minorities, and people with disabilities work for city hall.

Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability. On The Charlotte Post, I liked reading the article “The Consensus Builder: Vil Lyles is the 2018 Newsmaker of the year” because I enjoyed learning about what it is like being Mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina and some of your ideas to improve society. Your role as 59^th Mayor od Charlotte, North Carolina gives me motivation to continue to learn history including social justice.  My future goal is to someday work in these areas to help emphasize the need to make Civil Rights stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, and many others. My letter is a gift to you for inspiring me and for Black History Month to help recognize African Americans who work hard to make a great difference for society.
