Pasadena, CA  91105

Dear Mr. Lloyd Young,

My name is  Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite movie that you played was The Jersey Boys. The Jersey Boys was a great musical/historical movie about how Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Nick Massi,  and Tommy Devito formed a group which was later changed to The Four Season band and how they worked hard to overcome different challenges in the music industry.   Mr. Lloyd Young, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Francis “Frankie” Valli because I liked on how you made him have different unique traits like working hard to try to help the other members of the Four Seasons work as a team to sing songs along with help each other out when there were challenges,  taking a risk to help pay off Tommy’s debt when Tommy ihas to owe money to the mob, and many others.  In The Jersey Boys movie, I really enjoyed learning about the different members of The Four season’s life along with their perspective on The Four Season development or how they worked on the songs.  Some of my favorite songs of the Four Seasons was Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Working My Way Back to You, and many others. Also what I liked about the Jersey Boys was how the main cast was able to make their singing talent sound like the real Four Seasons.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination.  Also I liked on how you used your role as a member of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities to work with President Obama to help find ways to help fund the arts to help make society a better place, give advice about different ways on how the arts including entertainment can be diverse along with accept diversity, and many others. Also on your activism I really like on how you raise money to help fund different health care organizations including Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS to help fund research into different diseases, help people who are poor get the medical care they need, assist people with pre-existing conditions or people who can’t afford health care get the assistance they need.  Mr. Lloyd Young, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Your role in The Jersey Boys help give me motivation to learn history, social justice, and biographies.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actor/singer. You really did an excellent job making Frankie Valli come alive along with expand on his traits in the Jersey Boys. You have inspired me to work hard on  my disability, watch Jersey Boys, and continue to learn different subjects.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to work hard to make a great difference.

Matt Winick

Dear Ms. McClurg,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite Disney movie that you played in was Bug’s Life. Bug’s Life was a great Disney movie about Flik, an ant who goes on a journey to find some warriors to help save his ant colony from grasshoppers, but instead he accidently recruits bugs who are circus members.  Ms. McClurg, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Dr. Flora in Bug’s Life because I like on how you made Dr. Flora have different unique traits like caring about the other ants in the colony when they struggle due to being oppressed by grasshoppers, standing up for Flik when he gets bullied or faces being judged by other ants for not being perfect.   In Bug’s Life, I liked on how it had some symbolisms like on how bullying and judging things or people for being different is not healthy in society, how people or different characters can use different skills to help benefit or achieve a goal, and many others.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination.  Ms. McClurg, I have autism with a learning disability. Also your character Dr. Flora in Bug’s Life helps me learn about how compassion is important, the need to learn on how to find ways to improve myself to be a better person when there are challenges, understand the importance of myself with different skills can help benefit society or a situation in a way, and many others. The main reason why I like Disney movies is because it does an excellent job emphasizing diversity,  having a great message or symbolism of life lessons,  having a balance between creativity along with a sense of humor, and many others.  Disney movies that have a message or a symbolism of life lessons like the need for friendships when times are hard, being compassionate can make you a better person, have the motivation or courage to find ways to improve yourself or your skills to be a better person or help make an impact on society, and a strong need to reduce bullying along with prejudice is helpful and inspiring to me to work hard on my disability, try to understand how life works, and learn different skills or life skills to help improve myself.
