When you served as Member of the Missouri House of Representatives from the 77th district from 2013-2017, I truly appreciates on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights by advocating for people with disabilities’ rights, supporting funds for women including minorities businesses to help them compete in the economy, and working with other members of the Missouri House of Representatives to expand on laws to combat against hate-crime to help protect minorities including people who are different. On the economy, I liked on how you support an expansion of jobs training programs to help train youth including workers to develop or improve on job skills to help them prepare for the work force and advocate for the need to raise the minimum wage to help assist minimum wage workers afford to live.  Supported funds for renewable energy resources to help reduce addiction to oil with gas, encouraged businesses including industries to use energy efficient products to reduce high energy cost while reduce pollution, and worked to push for funds to help clean parks including water resources to make them safe for people to use is common sense to protect the environment.  On education, I like on how you support funds to improve special education to help students with disabilities get accommodations they need to learn and push for literacy programs to help adults including students to develop reading skills to improve on comprehension.  In January 2017, I was amazed on how you made history on becoming the first African American woman to become Circuit Attorney of St. Louis, Missouri. Another thing that I like about your work as St. Louis Circuit Attorney is how you decided to end prosecution for low-level marijuana possession by replacing it with community service,  investigating companies including industries that illegally pollute the environment including violate environmental protection laws, and went after public officials including law enforcement that accept illegal bribes or commit misconduct to reduce corruption.

Circuit Attorney Gardner, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  On Youtube, I enjoy watching you talk about the need for criminal justice reform and how Conviction Integrity Unit is very important in society to reduce wrongful conviction. Your role as former Member of the Missouri House of Representatives from the 77th district and in your current role as Circuit Attorney of St. Louis, Missouri gives me motivation to continue to learn history including social justice. Dear Ms. LaRue,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting.  My favorite tv shows that you played in was All My Children and CSI Miami.  All My Children had a great plot about citizens of Pine Valley where they deal with different things.  In All My Children, I thought you did a great job making Dr. Maria Santos a great character on the show because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like caring about her members of Santos family, working hard to overcome her struggles on dealing with a miscarriage, and many others.  CSI Miami is a great crime drama show about a group of detectives who work with the Miami-Dade Police Department Crime Scene Investigations where they use forensic science to help them solve cases.  In CSI Miami, I liked on how it showed the importance of how forensic science is important in solving cases and show how the evidence is related to the crime. Ms. LaRue, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Detective/DNA specialist Natalia Boa Vista because I like how you made her have great traits like examining the evidence to help the other team members of the CSI team to solve a case,  using her experience in DNA to help test DNA to find suspects related to the case, and working with Horatio Crane to assist him on different cases.  I enjoyed watching SCI Miami because I like seeing how different members of CSI would use different approaches to help solve a cases.

Besides your acting career, I like on how you are an activist on helping improve society. In your activism I truly appreciate you supporting Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes,  raising money to help support programs to help victims of human trafficking get help, and express the need for immigration reform to help protect immigrants including refugees from being oppressed. Ms. LaRue, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of Civil Rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your role in CSI Miami helped me get interested in learning about how forensic science is important to society, watching youtube videos about forensic science to help educate me, and watch more crime drama shows (Law And Order, Law and Order: CI, CSI Miami, SWAT CBS, and many others)

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You really did an awesome job making Natalia Boa Vista a great character in CSI Miami.  Your activism to improve society is common sense. You have inspired me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and be motivated to learn forensic science.  Also here is $5 for you to use to help your activism.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, doing an excellent job making CSI Miami a great show, and inspiring me.  I wish you the best for the future.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
