Dear Mr. Jesse Tyler Ferguson,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting in different tv shows.  The tv shows that I enjoy watching you play in was The Class and currently in Modern Family. In Class,  I enjoyed the plot of the show where it followed different people who were alumni of a fictional Woodman Elementary School and learning how different main characters have different lives.  I enjoyed your character Richie Velch because I liked on how he works hard to overcome his struggles with losing a job, having a struggle with his marriage, and understanding his life.  Modern Family is an interesting show because I enjoy seeing how families have different personalities or traits on how they run their family or interact with other friends including neighbors. Mr. Ferguson,  I thought you do an excellent job portraying Mr. Mitchell Pritchett because I like on how you make Mitchell Pritchett have interesting traits like being a caring father for his adopted daughter Lily from Vietnam,  have sensitive qualities when dealing with different issues,  and working hard to overcome his struggle of being accepted by people about being a homosexual. Also what I like about your character is how Mitchell’s relationship between Cameron on how they work together in a relationship or taking care of the daughter when there are some disagreements.   Another thing is I was amazed when you guest starred on late night shows where I got to learn more about your comedic personality.  On the Late Show with James Corden, I thought you did an excellent job singing about how you want to tell your story because you have a great voice and how you did a great job expressing the lyrics while doing hand motions.

I have Autism and having it is difficult for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes I struggle on communicating my thoughts, and get teased. Also having Autism is difficult because sometimes people don’t accept me, some people tease me, and I have trouble finding friends due to people being prejudice against me because I have a disability.  Your role as Mr. Mitchell Pritchett on trying to overcome different struggles especially looking for people to accept him for being different really inspires me to work hard on Autism, learn different things, feel comfortable about myself, and looking for good people to be friends with. Also your comedic work on late night shows got me really interested in learning the importance of having a sense of humor.  Another thing that I really like is how you are an advocate for people with disabilities’ rights, people who are LGBT, and minorities to get equal treatment and even be protected from being discriminated.

Mr. Ferguson, I strongly believe that you make a great difference as an actor and do such an excellent job making Mitchell Pritchett a great character to watch in Modern Family.  Also I do really think you do such a great job expanding on your character’s traits like working hard to have friendship and trying to remain strong when people have trouble accepting a person who is different.  I’m proud to call you a true role model for me.  You have inspired me to work hard on my disability, understand the need to find friends that are good, have a sense of humor while having good traits like being kind or open-minded, and be a fan of your work. Here is a picture of me for you to keep as a gift for inspiring me and also here is $5 as a donation for you to use to fund the arts or help people who a different. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, making a great difference as an actor, and inspiring me. I wish you well for future in acting and Broadway.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
