Dear Ms. MacLaine,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. Some of my favorite movies that you played in were The Apartment, Can-Can,  Two for the Seesaw,   All in a Night’s Work,  Coco Chanel and many others. The Apartment was a great comedy movie about C.C. Bud Baxter who is an insurance clerk who is attracted to an elevator operator Fran Kubelik  even though she has an affairs.  In The Apartment I like seeing how Bud and Fran would develop a friendship, understand each other, and later develop feelings for each other.  Coco Chanel was a great biopic movie about Coco Chanel’s life as a French fashion designer and working hard to overcome her different challenges.  Ms. MacLaine, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Coco Chanel because I liked on how you had her have different unique traits like wanting to work hard when she faces challenge in society, having a passion for fashion design, and many others.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are an activist on supporting civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination.  Also on your activism I really like on how you support environmental protection causes to help reduce pollution, advocate for the need for health care reform to help protect people with pre-existing conditions or people who can’t afford health insurance get the care they need, and many others. Ms. MacLaine, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Also another thing that I struggle with a disability is when some peers of my friends get judgmental about me being different or not meeting their standards which results in me losing friend or my friends follow what other people think of me.  Your commitment to support civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits. I truly appreciate on how you are an activist on supporting different causes. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability and be a fan of your work. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
