Dear Mr. Williamson,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. Some of my favorite movies that you were in was Hammer, That Man Bolt, Black Eye, The Soul of Charley, and many others . Hammer was a great movie about B.J. Hammer, a boxer who becomes a rising star as a boxer from the help of the mafia, but wants to help protect Lois, his girlfriend from danger. In Hammer, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as B.J. Hammer because I like on how you made him have different unique traits like using his boxing skills to fight on crime, caring about his girlfriend Lois when she struggles in life, and many others. The Soul of Charley was a great western movie about Charley, an escaped slave who teams up with Toby, an ex slave to help a group of ex slaves including slaves get freedom from a ruthless Civil War who wants to sell blacks to southern plantation. In the movie, you really made Charley a great character by making him work hard to deal with the harsh trauma of being a slave, having the passion to help other ex slaves including African Americans escape slavery, and wanting to stop racism. Black Eye was a great neo-noir film about Stone, a private investigator investigating a murder case. In Black Eye, I like on how you made Stone a unique character with different traits like examining evidence including witness statements to understand the case, exploring different theories, and wanting to help people who have struggles.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Also on your activism, I like on how you support causes to address the need to combat against racial injustice. Mr. Williamson, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself.  Also I had done teaching time to help me learn to speak while learn how to improve my behavior, spent time in special education to help me learn different subjects in education, and many others.  Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Some of your characters in Hammer, That Man Bolt, Black Eye, and The Soul of Charley helps give me motivation to try to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actor. You do such an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and continue to find different methods to improve myself. Here is a small donation to help your activism. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
