Dear JoJo,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your singing. My favorite songs that you sang were Leave (Get Out), Baby It’s You, Sunshine, Keep On Keepin’ On,  Let It Rain, This Time, The High Road,  Honest, and many others. JoJo, you do such an excellent job singing because I like on how you make your songs have symbolisms like the need for love when times are hard, working hard to overcome different struggles in life, how it is important on  helping people or showing compassion to people who are different or when they are in a time of need, a strong need for friendships, and many others.  Also what I like about some of your songs is how it address the need for awareness about mental health.  Besides your singing career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Also on your activism, I like on how you speak out about the need to protect the environment from pollution, address the need for better educational awareness about mental health, and other social justice causes to improve communities.

JoJo, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Your songs that have some symbolism in life helps give me motivation to try to find different methods to improve myself or give me some comfort when I struggle in life. Also your activism on social justice causes inspires me to develop more of an interest in learning about social justice. In social justice, I like learning the importance of making civil rights stronger to reduce discrimination, protecting the environment from pollution, having criminal justice reform to help protect people’s rights while reduce crime, and many others.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented for singer. You do an excellent job making your songs have creativity and some messages about life. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your singing including your activism, try to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges in life, and be interested in social justice. Also here is a small donation to help your activism. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me.  Please continue to work hard to make a great difference.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
