Dear Ms. Landers,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you starred in was Dallas. Dallas was a great soap opera show about The Ewing Family who live on the Southfork Ranch in Dallas , Texas where they deal with competition for the oil company against other companies including some of the members from their families along with other people. In Dallas I thought you did an excellent job portraying Afton Cooper because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like caring about her brother Mitch Cooper when he struggles in life including when he deal with his marriage issues with Lucy Ewing. Also I enjoy your singing. Some of my favorite songs that you sang were Coming Through the Storm, Still Dreams to Dream, Rose Garden, and many others.  Ms. Landers, I think that you do such an excellent job singing because I like on how you make your songs have symbolisms like the need for love when times are hard, working hard to overcome different struggles in life, how it is important on  helping people or showing compassion to people who are different or when they are in a time of need, a strong need for friendships, and many others. Besides your singing career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination.

Ms. Landers, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Your songs that have some symbolism in life helps give me motivation to try to find different methods to improve myself or give me some comfort when I struggle in life.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented singer/actress. You did such an excellent job making Afton Cooper have different unique traits in Dallas. Also you really make your songs have creativity along with a unique life messages. I was wondering if you could please take the time to answer some of my questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me.  Please continue to work hard to make a great difference.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
