Dear Ms. Miller,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you were on was Madam Secretary. Madam Secretary was a great political drama show about Elizabeth McCord who becomes U.S. Secretary of State under President Dalton’s administration and has to help navigate the political environment while reduce tensions between different countries. Ms. Miller, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Daisy Grant in Madam Secretary because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like working with staff members of Secretary McCord on find different policy issues to assist her on figuring out how to reduce tensions, using her skills in communications to help Secretary McCord on her speeches including her administration to help the public understand policy, and many others. Also what I liked about Daisy Grant is how she would continue her friendship including working relationship with Secretary McCord including other staff members when they would have differences or different approaches and work hard to improve herself when she faces obstacles. I really enjoyed watching Madam Secretary because I enjoy learning about how policy decisions are made, how staff members under Madam Secretary work on assist the Secretary of State, how different approaches on finding ways to reduce tensions, the importance of human rights to help protect people, and many others.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong support of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes. Ms. Miller, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself.  Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Your character Daisy Grant in Madam Secretary helps give me motivation to try to find different strategies to improve myself including find ways to understand solutions when there are obstacles, develop an interest in learning more about world cultures, and continue to learn history including social justice.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making your character have different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and try to find different strategies to help me improve myself or gain knowledge when the world gets difficult.  I was wondering if you could please give me some advice about working hard on my disability and answer some of my questions.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring to me.  I wish you the best in the future.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
