Dear Mr. Dixon,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you played in was Power. Power was a great tv show about James St. Patrick/Ghost who struggles in dealing with his split life as a drug dealer and as a businessman and trying to understand life. Mr. Dixon, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Attorney Terry Silver because I liked on how you made him have different unique traits like working on finding evidence to help clear James St. Patrick/Ghost from a crime that he didn’t commit, helping Tasha when she struggles in life, and many others. Also what I like about Terry Silver was how he would help give advice to the Patrick family on dealing with the law and wanting to hold law enforcement accountable for their corruption.
Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Mr. Dixon, I have autism with a learning disability. . Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Also your character Terry Silvers in Power helps me get interested in learn the need for criminal justice reform, understand the importance of the idea of reducing corruption including misconduct in law enforcement along with prosecution, and work hard to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actor. You do such an excellent job making your character Terry Silver have different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and try to find different methods to improve myself. I was wondering if you could please take the time to answer some of my questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.
