Dear Ms. Leslie,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you played in was God Friended Me. God Friended Me was a great drama show about podcast Miles Finer gets a friended by god which results in helping people with different issues and Miles works with his friends including his family to understand life. Ms. Leslie, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Ali Finer because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like helping her brother Miles tries to understand life when there are obstacles, teaming up with Miles, Cara, and Rakesh on helping people, and being kind along with compassionate to other people when they have struggles in life.  I enjoyed watching season 1 and 2 of God Friended Me because I really like seeing how Miles, Ali, Cara, Rakesh, and Arthur would work hard to understand life when there are challenges, work on friendships,  and continue to help people when they have difficult times.  God Friended Me had many great life lessons and symbolism like the importance of being compassionate to people when they have hard times, how teamwork along with friendship is important in life,  how helping people who struggle in life can make a positive difference,  a strong need to find different methods to improve a person when there are obstacles, and many others. Recently, I started to watch Batwoman season 2.  In Batwoman season 2, You do such an excellent job portraying as  Ryan Wilder/Batwoman because I like on how you make her have different unique traits like working hard to overcome her dealing with trauma of being victim of being kidnapped at a young age or other trauma, wanting to improve herself when she makes mistakes, caring about other people when they are affected by the system being broken, and having the motivation to help people when they face obstacles. I enjoy watching season 2 of Batwoman because I really like seeing how Ryan Wilder/ Batwoman learns to understand life when there are challenges.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Leslie, I have autism with  a learning disability.  Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Also another thing that I struggle with a disability is when I struggle to fit into social groups, lose friends due to them including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them, and have struggle on understanding life when there are obstacles.   When I face these challenges, I feel discouraged about myself and having a disability. Your support for civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Your characters Ali Finer in God Friended Me and Ryan Wilder/Batwoman in Batwoman helps give me motivation to work on my disability, learn different methods to improve myself when there are challenges, learn how kindness including compassion can make a great difference, and many others.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits.  You have truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and try to understand life while work on developing different methods to improve myself. I was wondering if you could please take the time to answer some of my questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. I wish you the best on filming the rest of Season 2 of Batwoman.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
