Dear Ms. Canova,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv shows that you were in was I’m a Big Girl Now and SOAP.  I’m a Big Girl Now was a great comedy show about Diana Cassidy, a young mother who is divorced who moves with her daughter Becky to live with her single father Benjamin. In I’m a Big Girl, you did an excellent job making Diana Cassidy have different unique traits like learning how to be a better mother to her daughter Becky when she struggles in life being a single mother, helping along with caring her family on dealing with different situations, and many others.  SOAP was an interest comedy soap opera show about the lives of Tates, the rich family and the Cambells, a blue collar company in Connecticut where they deal with different things in life along with other citizens in Connecticut. Ms. Canova, I thought you did an excellent job making Corinne Tate Flotsky because I like on how you made her have different unique traits like learning how to be kind to other people despite facing different obstacles, working hard to improve herself when she makes mistakes in life including relationships, helping her family members of Tate family when they deal with things.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Canova, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me since I was born through currently because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts in social settings including environmental situations, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability in society is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. When I deal with these obstacles I feel down about if I belong in society due to being different. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Your characters Diana Cassidy in I’m a Big Girl and Corinne Tate in SOAP helps give me motivation to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and continue to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges. I was wondering if you could please take the time to answer some of my questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
