Dear Ms. Cannon,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite movies that you played in were Such Good Friends,  Virginia Hill, Heaven Can Wait, and Lady of the House.  Such Good Friends was an interesting movie about Julie Messinger, a housewife and when her husband Richard goes into a coma she finds out the Richard had an affair with another women which results in her struggling to try to understand life. In Such Good Friends, I thought you did an excellent job making Julie Messinger have different unique traits like trying to balance her life on helping take care of her children while trying to process difficult news, learning how to try to forgive another women despite the woman having an affair with her husband, and many others. Virginia Hill was a great biopic movie about Virginia Hill’s life and how she became involved in the mafia business. Lady of the House was another great biopic movie about Sally Stanford’s life and how she got involved in politics. Ms. Cannon, you did an excellent job making Sally Stanford an interesting historical figure because I liked on how you made her try to work hard to overcome different challenges on being a female in politics, having the passion to help people despite the political field being difficult, and many others.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Cannon, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself.  Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Some of your characters that you played in movies including tv movies and tv shows help give me motivation to try to learn how to forgive when people have hurt me with their bullying, find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges, be compassionate for people who struggles or face challenges when the world gets toxic or gets polarized. Also your acting in biopic movies gets me interested in learning history. In History I like to learn about the need to make civil rights stronger to reduce discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, learn about different famous people or different individuals (minorities, woman, and people with disabilities) who work hard to make a great difference, and many others.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and try to understand life when there are challenges. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
