Dear Mr. Marsden,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your voice acting. My favorite tv shows that you voiced in were The Weekenders and Static Shock. The Weekenders was a great cartoon show about the weekend life of 7th graders Tino, Los, Carver, and Tish where they navigate life in different ways. Mr. Marsden, I liked on how you made Tino Tontini a great character by making him have different unique traits like being kind to other people, having a sense of humor, helping his friends Lor, Carver, and Tish on doing different activities, working hard to improve himself when he faces challenges in life or wanting to learn to be a better person, and many others. The Weekenders had many great messages in the show like it’s okay to have friends that are diverse in different backgrounds or skills, the importance of being kind including compassion to other people who are different or when they have some struggles in life, it’s okay not to be okay when dealing with hard times, and learning to learn from mistakes to be a better person. Static Shock was a great superhero show about Virgil Hawkins, a 14 year old boy who becomes Static Shock with electromagnetic powers after being exposed to a chemical and uses his powers to help people.  In Static Shock, I liked on how you made Richard Osgood Foley/Gear have different unique traits like using his genius on technology to help his best friend Virgil Hawkins/Static Shock on fighting crime, being a best friend to Virgil Hawkins/Static Shock when he faces different challenges in life or needs advice to be a better person, and many others.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Mr. Marsden, Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. I have done teaching time to improve on my speech including other improvements on behavior. Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your characters Tino Tontini in The Weekenders and Richard Osgood Foley/Gear in Static Shock helps give me motivation to find different methods and use critical thinking including compassion to improve myself when there are challenges.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented voice actor. You did an excellent job making your characters  Tino Tontini in The Weekenders and Richard Osgood Foley/Gear in Static Shock great characters with different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and continue to find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
