Dear Ms. Sink,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting.  My favorite movie that you were in was The Whale and Dear Zoe.  The Whale was a great movie about Charlie, who is an obese English teacher who wants to reconnect with Ellie, his biological daughter. In The Whale I liked on how you made Ellie have different unique traits like being creative at writing and trying her best to repair her relationship with her father Charlie despite his lack of respect or compassion. Dear Zoe was another movie that I liked where it is about Tess DeNunzio who is struggling to understand her grief when her younger sister Zoe gets killed in an hit and run and trying to understand how to navigate society. Ms. Sink, you did an excellent portraying as  Tess DeNunzio because I liked on how you made her have different traits like trying to understand her depression about losing her sister, trying to navigate changes in the family, and many others.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination.  Ms. Sink, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Also with my disability, I struggle in society including a work place or when I volunteer on trying to do fast pace on different tasks including understanding how to do task efficiently which causes people to get flustered at me. Also with my challenges, I have struggles on maintaining friendships when other people get judgmental about me having a disability or not meeting their expectations. Your advocacy for civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability.  Your characters Ellie in The Whale and Tess DeNunzio in Dear Zoe helps give me motivation helps give me motivation to continue to have compassion, use critical thinking to learn, and find different methods to improve myself.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actor. You did such an excellent job making characters Ellie in The Whale and Tess DeNunzio in Dear Zoe have great unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your work, and continue to find ways to improve myself when there are challenges. Here is a small donation to help your activism. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and many others. Please continue to make a great difference for society.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
