Dear Ms. Plaza,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you were in was Parks and Recreation.  Parks and Recreation was a great comedy drama show about Leslie Knope, who is the deputy Director of Parks and Recreation Department in Pawnee, Indiana where she deals with politics in a small town. Ms. Plaza, you did an awesome job making April Ludgate have different unique traits like trying to understand local politics through her role as an intern in the Department of Parks and Recreation including different positions in the local government, helping give Leslie some advice about understanding the community, and many others. Also what I liked about Parks and Recreation was how it showed how local politics including local government works, seeing people share their different perspective on different issues, and many others.  Some of my favorite movies that you were in was About Alex, Dirty Grandpa, and Emily the Criminal. About Alex was a great drama movie about Alex who has struggles with mental health gets reunited with his old college friends where they share some memories. Ms. Plaza, I liked on how you made Sarah a unique character on trying to help Alex when he deal with mental health issues and  trying to understand life when she including her old college friends changed.  About Alex had some great themes like the need to help people or someone they care about when they struggle with mental health. Dirty Grandpa was a great comedy movie about Jason Kelly and his grandpa Richard Kelly where they travel to Miami during spring break. In Dirty Grandpa I thought you did a great job making Lenore have a sense of humor. Emily the Criminal had a great story about Emily Benetto, who struggles to pay for her student loans including getting a job due to having a criminal record and decides to get involved in the credit card scam to survive. In Emily the Criminal, I thought you did an excellent job portraying as Emily Benetto because I liked on how you made her a unique character by trying to understand life when society gets hard on her including when they criminal world becomes dangerous.

Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Plaza, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased.  Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself.  Your commitment to be a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your characters April Ludgate in Parks and Recreations, Sarah in About Alex, Lenore in Dirty Grandpa, and Emily in Emily the Criminal helps give me motivation to try to find different methods to improve myself.

I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You do such an excellent job making your characters have different unique traits. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting, and continue to find different methods to improve myself. Here is a small donation to help your activism. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.

Sincerely,

Matt Winick
