Dear Ms. Ebersole,
My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your acting. My favorite tv show that you starred in was Bob Hearts Abishola. Bob Hearts Abishola was a great comedy show about Bob Wheeler who has a heart attack at the hospital where he meets Abishola, a nurse and he later falls in love with Abishola despite them coming from different cultures. Ms. Ebersole, I think that you did such an excellent job as Dorthy Dottie Wheeler because I liked on how you made her have different unique traits like helping her children Bob, Douglas, and Christine when they would have struggles in life, giving advice to Abishola when she tries to understand how to navigate society including her relationship with Bob, and many others, Also what I liked about Dorthy Dottie Wheeler was how she would work with children Bob, Douglas, and Christine on helping their sock businesses do well, learning about the Nigerian culture, and finding ways to get along with her children including Abishola’s family despite their differences. The reason I like Bob Hearts Abishola is because it had some good messages like the need for friendships including kindness along with compassion when people have a hard time, how it is okay for people who come from different culture to be friends or have a relationship with other people, how people shouldn’t use culture for a form of bigotry or as a way to judge other people for being different, and many others.
Besides your acting career, I truly appreciate on how you are a strong supporter of civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes to reduce discrimination. Ms. Ebersole, I have autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different advance subjects, sometimes I struggle to communicate my thoughts, and get teased. Another thing that I struggle with a disability is when other people including other adults get judgmental about me being different from them and have struggles to find different methods to improve myself. Also with my disability, I struggle in society including a work place or when I volunteer on trying to do fast pace on different tasks including understanding how to do task efficiently which causes people to get flustered at me. Also with my challenges, I have struggles on maintaining friendships when other people get judgmental about me having a disability or not meeting their expectations. Your support for civil rights including people with disabilities’ rights causes really inspires me to work hard on my disability. Your character Dorthy Dottie Wheeler and the rest of the cast of Bob Hearts Abishola along with their characters helps helps give me motivation to have compassion, using critical thinking to learn or understand different task, and find different methods to improve myself when there are challenges.
I strongly believe that you are a very talented actress. You did a really excellent job making Dorthy Dottie Wheeler a unique character with different unique traits in Bob Hearts Abishola. You truly inspire me to work hard on my disability, be a fan of your acting including Bob Hearts Abishola, and continue to find ways to improve myself when there are challenges. Here is a small donation to help your activism and a birthday card wishing you a Happy Birthday for Feb 21st. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Please continue to make a great difference for society.
Sincerely,
Matt Winick
