Dear U.S. Senator Bob Dole,

My name is Matthew Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in studying history including public policy.  The main reason I have a strong interest in studying these subjects is because I like to learn the need to advance on Civil Rights to help protect people who are different from being discriminated, protect the environment from pollution,  help people who are poor get the care they need, and many others.  The main reason I’m writing you a letter is because I find your work as moderate Republican U.S. Senator of Kansas and as an advocate to be very inspiring to me.

When you served in the U.S. Senate in 1969-1996, I liked on how you worked with Democratic U.S. Senator Jim McGovern on helping expand on federal food stamps to help low-income people including farmers get the food or assistance to buy food so they can get the care they need.  In 1990, I was very proud  of how you and Democratic U.S. Senator Tom Harkin led a bipartisanship with different U.S. Senators like Richard Lugar, Alan K Simpson, Ted Kennedy, Bob Kerrey, and many others to push for The American With Disabilities’ Act of 1990 to get passed to help protect people with disabilities from being discriminated in education and public places.  To protect the environment, I was very proud on how you used your role as Senate Minority Leader to work with President George H.W. Bush and Senate Democratic Majority Leader George Mitchell to pass The Clean Air Act of 1990 to reduce air pollution by pushing for clean fuel to reduce carbon emissions, expanding on programs to reduce acid rain or other pollutants, and promoting energy conservation with clean energy to reduce addiction to oil with gas.   Another thing that I liked when you were in the U.S. Senate was on how you were moderate on different issues and broke with your own party when they supported extreme policies. After you left the U.S. Senate, I liked you commitment to help honor WWII veterans and U.S. troops that served their country by pushing for WWII Memorial to be built to honor the troops who fought in World War II.

I have Autism with a learning disability and having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, struggle with speech when communicating with people, and get teased. Your support with other U.S. Senators on The ADA of 1990 helped benefit me by getting an education and to be protected from being discriminated.  In elementary school though my community college the ADA helped expand accommodations like having a T.A. or tutor work with me on different subjects, have extra time on exams including homework, use educational software to help improve my comprehension, use a recorder to record lectures to help improve note-taking, and many others. The ADA helped me get an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan. My main focus in my degree is history, government, criminal justice, some business, and some science. The future goal that I want use my degree is to teach history to help people learn the need to improve society or work on history commissions to help make history come alive to help remind people about how ideas can help shape society, honor people who work hard to do good things, and explain not to repeat the same mistakes.

Senator Dole, I strongly believe that you made a great difference as a moderate Republican U.S. Senator of Kansas and as an advocate for people with disabilities’ rights including supporting honoring people who make a great difference. Your support for the ADA and being an advocate for people with disabilities’ rights really makes a great impact on me to get an education, be protected from being discriminated, and continue working hard on Autism.  I have included an essay about President Eisenhower and “The Kid With No Words”, a story of my life with a disability where I dedicate you for making a great impact on me.  I hope you get a chance to read it  Also I’m very proud of your commitment to be a supporter of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial to be built. In 2014, I became a strong support for the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission because I believe that it is time for IKE to be honored for his commitment to support U.S. Troops and using his moderate Republican to help move the country forward, and many others. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter including my items, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me.  I hope I get a chance to meet you because you have strongly inspired me to have courage and work hard on my disability.

Dear Mr. Brady,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your work as a comedian and as a TV show hosts.  I enjoy watching you star in Whose Line Is it Anyway because I like on how you make up different songs related to the subject or question that the host asks and make different catchphrases including doing hand gestures while making a comedic saying.  In the show, I think you, Mr. Colin Mochrie, and Mr. Ryan Stiles do such a great job making comedy fun and funny to watch. Also I like on how you do such a great job working together with them on making skits very creative.   My favorite tv shows that you hosted and currently host are The Wayne Brady Show, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, That’s What I’m Talking About, and Let’s Make the Deal.   In TV Land That’s What I’m Talking About, I enjoyed learning about how different African Americans work hard in the entertainment industry and gave some historical background of their life. In your other TV shows that you hosted, I really like on how you work hard to make game shows fun including motivating guests to try to do activities, having a great balance of being comedic while hosting the show, and doing a great job making guest feel comfortable to be interviewed.

Mr. Brady, I have Autism with a learning disability and having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects including struggle with communicating when speaking with other people.  Also having a disability is hard for me because I get teased by other people. Your story about childhood struggling with stuttering due to having trouble with anxiety and being teased by other people really inspires me to work hard on my disability and to try finding different methods to avoid feeling down when I get bullied. Your work on TV Land That’s What I’m Talking About really inspired me to be interested in learning history including learning about famous people’s lives.  Learning history, studying famous people, and watching different tv shows really helps me learn more about people, understand how to have conversations, understand about how main characters have a story or an origin, and have motivations to be interested in learning new things. My dream goal is someday to do acting in different tv shows or use history to help teach other people about the need to improve society including recognize people who work hard to make a great difference or who advocate for good ideas.

Mr. Brady, I strongly believe that you really make a great difference as a comedian and as a tv show host.  Your story about overcoming your struggle of being teased including working hard to overcome stuttering really made a great impact on me to be inspired to work hard on Autism, work  hard to find ways to avoid being teased, and to be interested in learning different subjects. Here is a picture of me including a small donation as a gift to you for making a great impact on me.  I was wondering if you could please share some advice about how to improve yourself when getting teased by other people.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, inspiring me, and working hard to make comedy including tv shows fun to watch.  I wish you well on continuing your Broadway “Kinky Boots”.

Dear Ms. Spears,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your work as a pop singer and being an activist on making a difference for the community.  Ms. Spears, my favorite songs that you sing are “Baby One More Time”,  “Everytime”, “3”, “Toxic,” “Lucky”, and “You Drive Me Crazy”. I find your life on becoming a pop star when you started to sing at an early stage and working hard to get recognized as a female pop star by working to overcome your struggles in the music industries when they weren’t confident about your talent very interesting and inspiring to me.  During my childhood when I was in elementary school, I became a fan of your first and second album “…Baby One More Time” and “Oops!... I Did It Again”.  The reason I liked those albums during my childhood was because you made the lyrics with the dance moves very clever and catchy.  Another thing is I liked on how you worked well with different pop artist like Beyonce and Pink on making the Pepsi commercial “We Will Rock You.” For the Super Bowl 2002, I really liked on how made the Pepsi Commercial very catchy with your lyrics and making your dance moves cool. I enjoyed that commercial because I though ba pa pa pa ba pa pa pa was very clever to be added to your lyric in the commercial.

Besides your singing career, I like on how you are an activist on helping society and people who need help when they need it.  To help get children get interested in music, I liked on how used your foundation to create Britney Spears Camp for the Performing Arts to help children to learn, explore, and develop on their talent. I liked on how you donated money to Music Rising, a charity to help musicians of New Orleans who were affected by the disaster get new instruments in order to make music come alive again.  Also I got really moved when you donated money to charity to help people with disabilities or who has special needs and being an advocate for the need to support people with disabilities’ rights. Your work on being a supporter of people with disabilities rights really inspires me to work hard on Autism with a learning disability. Having a disability is hard because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, I have trouble with speech when communicating with other people, and sometimes other people tease me about having it.  However, your commitment to assist people with disabilities including being an activist to make society better really inspires me to have a strong interest in studying different subjects, have an interest in learning music through practicing on the Bb Clarinet, and to be confident to work hard on Autism including being proud of who I am.

Ms. Spears, I am proud of your hard work on your music career from starting at an early age, working hard to overcome your struggle to get recognized by the music industries, and making songs including commercials fun, catchy, and clever lyrics with dance moves. Also I am very proud of your commitment to be an activist to make society better by –helping children get interested with being motivated to find an interest in music or a talent, helping musicians who suffered from a hurricane get assistance that they need, and helping people with disabilities get the care they need or assistance.  As a musician and a person with a disability I strongly believe that you make a great difference and I’m proud to call you one of my favorite artist. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, inspiring me, and making a difference for the community.  I want to wish you well at your performing show “A Piece of Me” in Las Vegas and keep up the good work.

Dear Ms. Strong,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your work as a voice actress for different animated cartoon shows.  My favorite animated cartoon shows that you voiced in are The Fairly OddParents, Teen Titans, Xiaolin Showdown, The Proud Family, Gotham Girls, and The New Batman Adventures.  In Gotham Girls and The New Batman Adventures, I thought you did a great job voicing as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl because I liked on how you made Barbara Gordon/Batgirl have humor and a great personality. Your voice of Batgirl really made The New Batman Adventures have a great balance between humor and action animated show. As a batman cartoon fan, I’m very proud on how you worked hard on making The New Batman Adventures a great show.   Another show that I liked watching was Xiaolin Showdown because I enjoyed the plot about four Xiaolin warriors who are training to battle the force of evil who want to use Shen Gong Wu a magical artifact for doing evil things. Also in the show I really liked on how each different Xiaolin warriors have different traits where they work together to save the world and even fix their conflict when they have an issue.  You did a great job voicing Omi in the show because I liked on how you made Omi funny personality while making him have a trait where he works to help his teamwork together when they have a conflict.

I have Autism with a learning disability and having a disability is hard for me because I get teased by other people and have trouble on comprehending on learning different subjects.  I enjoy watching cartoons like comedy and superhero cartoons because they are easy for me to comprehend, enjoy learning how different main cartoon characters have different traits or personality, and how some of the episodes can be funny.  Your work as a carton voice actor for different cartoons on different characters really inspired me to be a fan of cartoon shows. Also your work on developing cartoon characters like Batgirl and Omi on expanding their traits like the need for teamwork when there is a conflict really inspires me to learn the need for friendship, understand the need for teamwork with other people when struggling on something, and many others.  I have a birthday card with a hand drawing wishing you a Happy Birthday for February 12th  including $5 as a gift for your hard work. 

Ms. Strong, I strongly believe that you made a great difference as a voice actress in different cartoons. Also you really do such a great job making cartoon characters have interesting traits. I wish you well  to continue your acting career. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard as a voice actress, and inspiring me to be a fan of your work including watching cartoons.
