Dear Mr. Hinds,

My name is Matt Winick and I’m a fan of your work as an actor in different movies including a tv show. My favorite movies that you played in were Frozen and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.  In Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, I thought you did a great job playing Jonathan Reiss, a villain of Lara Croft because I liked on how you made Mr. Reiss have a balance of a villain of having a motive of having power while making him not a dark villain.   In 2013, I enjoyed seeing a Disney movie called Frozen at the movie theaters.  I enjoyed the movie because I enjoyed the plot about a princess who goes on an epic journey with an iceman, a pet reindeer, and a snowman to find her sister with ice powers to help save the kingdom.   In the movie, I enjoyed the humor of different characters especially the Grand Paddie Troll King and liked the songs in the movie.  Mr. Hinds, I really thought you did an excellent job portraying Grand Paddie Troll King because I liked on how you made him have a great Disney traits like being wise, kind, caring, and helpful to the other Disney Frozen main characters o their journey.  I was very amazed on how you did an excellent job making Disney come alive and making your character in Frozen a great character to make the movie great.  My favorite tv shows that you played in were Political Animals and Rome. Rome was a great historical drama tv show because I enjoyed learning about Ancient Rome and different famous people in that period like Julius Caesar.  Mr. Hinds, I really liked on how you did such a great job playing Julius Caesar because I liked on how you historically make Julius Caesar an interesting figure like being a reformer to shape different ideas, and having sympathy to people, and his willingness to work hard on finding peace.

Rome and your role as Julius Caesar in the show helped me get motivated to be interested in taking an early western civilization history class in my high school in 2008.   In my class, I enjoyed learning about Ancient Rome, the some of the early Europeans who made a difference in Europe with ideas or inventions, how religion played an influential role. and many others.  Also in my literature class, your role in Rome got me interested in reading “Julius Caesar” by William Shakespeare to learn more about the reason why Julius Caesar was assassinated and how his assassination play a big role in Rome.  My main goals is to continue studying history, learn more about how famous people work hard to make a great difference, understand the need to learn not to repeat the same mistake, visit historical sites including memorials and museums to help expand my learning,,  and learn how ideas including inventions play a role in society.

Mr. Hinds,  I really strongly believe that you made a great difference as an actor in movies and tv shows.  You really did an excellent job making Frozen a great Disney movie and making Disney a better place on making your character have great traits like caring and helpful on the main character’s journey including making music lyrics clever.  I’m proud to call Frozen one of my favorite Disney movie.   In Rome, you really made a great difference to make Ancient Rome an interesting subject to learn.  You do such a great job playing in historical drama because you really make history come alive to help me learn about interesting perspective of a famous person. Here is $5 as a gift to you for working hard to make a great difference and inspiring me or you can use it to fund the arts to make them come alive. I am proud to call you one of my favorite actors because you have made a great impact on me to be interested in history and to be a fan of Frozen. Dear Commissioner Siciliano,

My name is Matthew Winick with a strong interest in studying history and public policy. The main reason I have a strong interest in studying these subjects is to learn the need to advance on Civil Rights to help protect people who are different from discrimination, protect the environment from pollution, have healthcare reform to help people get the care they need, improve working conditions including worker’s rights to help them do well in the economy, and many others. Honorable Siciliano, I find your work in serving in President Eisenhower’s administration as his advisor, as an assistant secretary in U.S. Department of Labor, and as Special Assistant to President for Personnel management to be very inspiring to me.

During the President Eisenhower’s presidency, I was very proud on how you and other Civil Rights activist including lawyers meet with President Eisenhower to discuss about the need to have Civil Rights to reduce discrimination.  Under your role as Assistant Secretary in the U.S. Department of Labor, I liked on how you worked with President Eisenhower to help continue creating jobs to help workers fix roads including buildings to help improve standard of living and making sure that workers including people who worked get a minimum wage increase to help them afford living.   After being Assistant Secretary, I liked on how you were committed to be helping President Eisenhower in your role as Special Assistant to the Presidential for Personnel Management by advising him on different policies especially Civil Rights and making sure federal civilian employees had great management including benefits.  Another thing is I am very proud of how you worked hard as the Chairman of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission to help educate people about President Eisenhower and the need for a memorial in Washington D.C.

Your work as Chairman of Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission got me to be very interested in being a strong supporter of the memorial.  Your role as Chairman of Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission got me to write an endorsement letter supporting the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial’s goal in 2014.  I was very proud to endorse the commission including the design because it does a great job reflecting President Eisenhower’s legacy and I like the E-Memorial idea where technology can help people learn more about President Eisenhower’s life with his work.  Commissioner Siciliano , I have Autism with a learning disability and having a disability is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects. Technology including audio with close caption helps me improve my comprehension and helps me work on vocabulary. As a person with a disability, I strongly believe that the E-Memorial is a good idea to help people comprehend well, motivate them to learn, and help people with disabilities like me. Also your work in President Eisenhower’s administration on making a great difference for American got me really interested in studying President Eisenhower’s life with his presidency, continuing my interest in learning history, and vising the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in Abilene Kansas.  In September 2015, I visited the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum and I enjoyed it because I enjoyed learning about the early life of IKE, his military career especially World War II, and his presidency. 

Commissioner Siciliano, I strongly believe that you made a great difference in history by serving in President Eisenhower’s administration and as Chairman of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission.  Your work has made a great positive impact on me to be a supporter for this memorial, continue to learn history, and praise some of the members of the advisory committee because they have made a great impact on me with their work including inspiring me to work hard on Autism and to learn history.  Here is a copy of my essay of President Dwight D. Eisenhower that I wrote for my U.S. History class at Washtenaw Community College and a copy of my endorsement letter as a gift to you for making a great impact on me. I hope you enjoy my items. Dear Attorney Killian,

My name is Matthew Winick from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in studying history and public policy.  These subjects are my favorite because I like to understand the need to advance on Civil Rights to help protect people who are different from being discriminated, improve regulations to help combat against fraud to protect people, have checks and balances in the criminal justice system to reduce crime while protecting people’s civil liberties, and many others. Attorney Killian, I find your work as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee to be very inspiring to me.

When you served as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee from 2010-2015, I liked your commitment to be a strong supporter of protecting minorities, women, and people with disabilities from being discriminated and advocating to help strengthen Civil Rights.   On health care issues, I was very proud on how you prosecuted health insurance companies that committed health care fraud against the people, worked with other U.S. Attorneys to combat against illegal prescription distribution, and expand treatment programs to help drug users get the care they need to reduce drug addiction.  Another thing that I liked was on how you used an approach to help combat against healthcare fraud was creating educational awareness to explain to people about ways to avoid health care fraud and explain different tips on preventing health care fraud. Your commitment to reduce crime like combating against illegal firearms to reduce gun violence, prosecuting people who commit hate-crime to reduce violence, and working with U.S. Attorneys including President Obama to combat against financial fraud caused by the financial institutions is common sense.  

Attorney Killian, I have Autism with a learning disability. Having Autism is hard for me because I have trouble comprehending on learning different subjects, sometimes struggle with communication when speaking with other people, and I get teased.  Your strong commitment to be a strong supporter of protecting Civil Rights, assisting minorities, women, and people with disabilities from being discriminated, and advocating for people with disabilities’ rights really inspires me to work hard on Autism and to be interested in learning.  Your role as U.S. Attorney on combating against healthcare fraud including creating educational awareness about the need to prevent health care fraud got me interested in watching documentaries about the need to improve laws to reduce fraud against the people, victims of fraud including health care fraud’ stories about how they work hard to overcome their struggles, and explain how different companies or insurance companies commit fraud, abuse, and waste on people including tax-payer’s money.   In winter semester of 2014, I took a class called “Intro To Criminal Justice” at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  In my class, I enjoyed learning about how the court system works, how law enforcement works, Miranda Rights with civil liberties, and how different Supreme Court cases or different laws affect the criminal justice system. My instructor worked with me on creating different ideas about reforming the criminal justice system in my project like the need for drug treatment programs to help drug users get the treatment they need to reduce drug addiction, fund D.N.A. testing with forensic science to reduce wrongful conviction, establish an education awareness program to help educate people about the need to reduce crime along with ways to protect them from different types of crime, have community services to help non-violent offenders including juveniles rehabilitate from re-offending, and expand programs to help victims of violence get the assistance they need to recover from trauma, and many others.  Your work as U.S. Attorney really inspired me to be interested in learning about the criminal justice system, understand the need to combat against fraud, and to continue my strong interest in history.  My main goal is to use what I learn from these subjects to help teach people about the need to improve society or work in public policy to help create common sense ideas to help make society better and stronger for the people.

Attorney Killian, I strongly believe that you made a great difference as U.S. Attorney on making society better by combating against crime while using common sense ideas to help educate people about how to prevent crime or protect themselves. You and your work has made a great impact on me to work hard on Autism, be interested in learning about the criminal justice system, and continue learning history.  I was wondering if you could please explain what it was like being U.S. Attorney and give me advice about continuing my interest in history, criminal justice, and public policy.  Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, working hard to make a great difference, and inspiring me. Dear Ms. Park,

My name is Matt Winick, an Asian American and I am a fan of your acting.  In 2010 I heard that there was going to be a remake of Hawaii 5-0 and I got really excited because I myself am a huge fan of Hawaii 5-0 old version. As a Hawaii 5-0 fan I use to watch all the episodes and I enjoy watching the cast members from the show.   After watching the old version of Hawaii 5-0 show I always hoped for a remake version of Hawaii 5-0. On September 20, 2010 I watched the Pilot episode of the show and I really liked the first episode. In the first episode I liked how the task force came together to fight against crime and I thought you did a great job acting as Kono along with Alex O’Loughlin as Steve McGarrett, Scott Caan as Danny Williams, and Daniel Dae Kim as Chin Kelly.  After watching the 1^st episode I became a really huge fan of watching the remake version of the show.  In the show I like seeing the beautiful parts of Hawaii, seeing the main cast working together on solving cases, and having a little humor.   Ms. Park, I think you do a great job playing Officer Kono because I like how you make her personality interesting like being commitment to help the taskforce when they need help, having courage to stand up for what is right, and having good working relationships with the other taskforce members. Also I appreciate you for working well with the main characters of the show and you really help make the show become better.  

I took an Intro to Criminal Justice class and I enjoyed learning about how the criminal justice system works. The class was very difficult for me, but the Hawaii 5-0, you and the other cast members helped me get motivated to be interested in learning more about he criminal justice system. Eventually I passed my class with a B because the motivation from Hawaii 5-0 show helped give me confidence to continue learning more about the criminal justice system.  As a Hawaii 5-0 fan I enjoy watching all of the seasons, enjoy watching you, Mr. Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Masi Oka, Jorge Garcia, and Chi McBride work together to make episodes of Hawaii 5-0 fun to watch with humor, and I look forward to continuing watching season 6.  Ms. Park, thank you for taking the time to read my letter and making a great difference to make Hawaii 5-0 fun with your character and making the cast members stronger.  Keep up the good work and I am excited to see more Hawaii 5-0 episodes.

P.S. please explain to me what it is like playing in a cop drama show and explain your thoughts on your character Kono on a sheet of paper that I have provided.
